VOV Eyeshadow Duo Review,Swatches,EOTD

I got this duo as a gift from friend and I have used these 4-5 times.I have never had a  duo combination of classic black and grey for perfect smokey look and when she offered me this,I happily agreed.

PRICE:Rs.150 or so I am not sure.

PACKAGING:The packaging is simple and little flimsy with a plastic round black outer covering.Nothing is mentioned on the packaging about the shade or number or brand.No applicator provided!!

SHADES:The shades in the duo are-black and silver.The black shade has some colored particles though they don’t transfer on the lids neither are visible in the swatch.The silver grey is basic shade.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the shadows is smooth but not very soft and creamy.These are on slightly drier side and have to be swiped 3-4 times to get the shade.They have a little gritty feel though they apply well.The shades blend well with each other and the pigmentation does increase when used over a primer.The shades stay for about 4-5 hours on my lids.

I personally feel that the black shade should have been more intense to get the perfect look.

RECOMMENDATION:This is a good option for girls who are new to smokey eye look as it is reasonably priced.However,I feel the quality should have been better.

 

VOV Soft Matte Lip Cream #06 Review & Swatches

ABOUT:It’s not a lipstick nor is it a gloss. It’s like nothing you’ve experienced before. It is a lipstick cream that goes on silky but looks soft matte.

PRICE:rs.150 for 6.5 ml

PACKAGING:The packaging is very similar to NYX soft matte lip cream.It is sturdy and very travel friendly.The packaging is copied so well that I find it hard to distinguish from NYX lip cream.. 😛

SHADE:06 is a very pretty pinky with muted mauve shade.It is a gorgeous shade for summers.The shade looks beautiful on fair and medium skin toned girls.However,it can look a bit streaky on darker tones.

MY VIEWS:The formula and texture of the lip cream is akin NYX soft matte lip cream.It is creamy and glides on smoothly on lips settling to a matte finish which is comfortable.It doesn’t settle in the lip lines but it does accentuate my lip lines.It is light weight.The shade is decently pigmented and one swipe imparts medium coverage which can be built up to fuller coverage.The shade can accentuate darker areas around the mouth so I suggest wearing this lip cream over concealed skin.

The wear time of the lip cream is amazing.I have worn this for about 4-5 hours with heavy meal and tea in between but the shade remained fresh and untouched.It has the same fragrance as the NYX lip cream and it gives slightly fuller appearance to lips.

RECOMMENDATION:I highly recommend this lip cream.It is easily available,much cheaper and available in many shade.The formula,texture is exactly similar to NYX lip cream.Love it!! ❤
