SHADE: Pink Charge is a very pretty barbie pink shade.It is like a mix of pink with pastel peach in the bullet. However,on lips it comes out to be a bit more deep.The shade has silver shimmer in it which is very minute.

MY VIEWS: The lipstick has soft and smooth texture.It i buttery soft and glides on easily on the lips.However,I notice that it can become a bit patchy and you need to dab it with your fingers to even out the lipstick on lips.The shade has minute silver shimmer that are barely visible.It is non-gritty and doesn’t settle in the lip lines.The lipstick looks glossy on application but settles to a semi-matte finish after a while.As far as the crease less claims are concerned,it does blur the appearance of fine lines to certain extent but its not too much.

The lipstick has a light weight,comfortable formula.It is decently pigmented but the shade itself is light so you need 2-3 swipes to get decent amount of shade. It stays for about 2-3 hours which is quite average.

RECOMMENDATION:Its not a highly recommended shade but I really like the mild tone it has.A great everyday wear shade and a nice option for college girls.

MY VIEWS:I love the incredibly smooth formula of the lipstick.It is after a long time that Lakme has come up with such a great formula.The texture of the lipstick is smooth.It is easy to apply without any tugging or puling.The formula is definitely creamy to certain extent.It is hydrating but not moisturizing.Those with dry lips will need a light layer of lip balm underneath.However,the lipstick feels very comfortable on lips.It is light weight and I love the mild fragrance that it has.It doesn’t settle in the lip lines but you need to exfoliate your lips as the finish is matte.

I love how it looks on my complexion.It brightens up my face & I love pairing it with a thick winged liner and blushed cheeks for a quick pin-up look. It stays for about 5-6 hours on me after which it leaves a soft red stain that goes away with proper cleansing.

SHADE:The shade-Pink Caress is an ubberly gorgeous yellow undertone pink.It looks really bright on my nc35-37 skin tone but can be a great mild soft pink on deeper skin tones.I love how it brightens up my skin tone without looking OTT or too bright. it provides a very fresh look to the face. The shade is sans any shimmer or sheen.

Pink Caress is a decently pigmented shade.I don’t know for some reasons it looks quite bright on me when I compare the swatches from online swatches.Online swatches show this shade as mild,light pink but on me it is medium pink with a tinge of peachiness in it.I love how it looks on my complexion.It brightens up my face & I love pairing it with a thick winged liner and blushed cheeks as the shade calls for Springggggg……It stays for about 5-6 hours on me after which it leaves a deep pink stain that goes away with proper cleansing.

SHADE:Fuschia Field is a deep hot pink shade with minute shimmer particles in ut.The shade is great for summers as it is bright and very fun!!It has shimmer in it.

MY VIEWS: The lipstick has soft and smooth texture.It glides on easily and settles to a semi-matte finish.The shimmer present is soft and non-gritty.However,it does settle in the lip lines.As far as the ‘creaseless’ claims are concerned,I completely detest this as the lipstick creases terribly on my lips and accentuates the lip lines;It stays for 5-6 hours though.It leaves a deep pink colored tint behind which goes away through a makeup remover only.

The shade is insanely pigmented and one swipe is all that is needed for covering pigmented lips.However,I go for another swipe as well to even out the lipcolor.The shade is great for summers and brightens up my face.

RATING: 2.75/5

RECOMMENDATION:The shade is nice but it is very common.I got this shade and the lip color for its ‘creaseless’ claims but it failed to perform in that area.

Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Cherry Review, Swatches & Pics

PACKAGING:The packaging is similar to lipstick packaging having a bullet with the same shade as the balm.The plastic lid that secures the balm is quite flimsy and prone to breakage.The balm name is provided at the bottom.

SHADE:Cherry is a soft red shade.Though,it is a balm but the shade is nicely pigmented.

MY VIEWS:The Lakme Lip Love Lip Care lip balm is soft and smooth. There is no waxy, sticky or oily feel on the lips which makes them comfortable on application. The lip balm comes with SPF 15, which provides decent protection for lips especially in winters.The formula is very hydrating and moisturising.It is great for those having chapped lips.

Cherry is decently pigmented shade being a lip balm.It does leave a mild reddish tint on lips.Though,it won’t be able to cover lip pigmentation.It stays for about 3-4 hours which is quite decent.I loved to carry this along with me during winters but it’s not possible to carry this in summers as it has a tendency to melt due to its soft and creamy formula.

RATING:3.5/5

RECOMMENDATION:The formula,texture and the shade but the melting problem makes it not so travel-friendly!!

Lakme Insta Liner- MY absolute fav till date!! Review,Swatches & Looks

I simply love liquid liners and I am always in search of a jet black liner.But even after stocking so many brands,this is one liner I use all the time(mostly!!).

I was at Claire’s and saw the staff girl wearing a gorgeous matte black liner.I couldn’t resist myself and out of curiosity went to her and asked what she was wearing on her lids and can you guess her answer??? Yes,I was this Lakme insta liner only.This isn’t the first time that I asked a girl and she replied with this answer.I t has been quite often that I keep on asking others whatever I like and when it comes to liners,I usually get a reply for this or Lakme iconic!!

PACKAGING:Dont go on the packaging.I know it is very flimsy and at first glance even I didn’t want to buy it but the product is amazing.It has a glass bottle with a plastic cap having the applicator.The tip if the applicator isn’t very thin r thick and good for precise application.

SHADE:The shade is Jet black.The blackest liner I have used till date and the finish is classy matte.

MY VIEWS: This is a liquid liner but the consistency is just right.It is neither too thick nor too runny and dries quickly.I like the ease of use as the applicator helps in sturdy application and I can easily draw a thick liner,a flick or a winged liner as per need.It doesn’t feel heavy on lids,neither does it flake.The liner is water resistant but not waterproof.I can wear it all day long.

This liner stays for about 5-6 hours and doesn’t budge.It comes off easily with a mild cleanser and is a great buy for beginners as they can practice with this liner since it is easily available at dirt cheap rate.The formula provides matte finish which I like.

SHADE:Peach Blush is a pretty matte brown withe peach undertones.It is more brown than peach and provides a very polished look tot he face.The shade will suit all skin tones and can be a great MLBB shade for dusky beauties.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipstick is soft and smooth.It is creamy but not overly that it bleeds.The shade settles to a semi-matte finish which is comfortable to wear and doesn’t dry out my lips.It is light weight.The lipstick is creamy but when it gets semi-matte,it can accentuate dry lips and lip lines so proper exfoliation is necessary.

The shade provides medium to full coverage in 2 swipes and is great for office and daily wear.It stays for about 4 hours on my lips with a light meal included.The shade intensity does lessen but it is there on lips.It fades evenly.

RECOMMENDATION:I really like this shade as it is subtle and very wearable.The staying power is decent and it is good for everyday wear.

I totally love creamy lip colors providing glossy finish to lips. I have been wearing Lakme Gloss Addict for quite a while and totally love the formula.

PACKAGING- The packaging of the lip colour is sturdy and classy with a transparent outer body having grey inner cover. It is travel friendly. The shade can be seen from above. The shade name is provided below. I like the cardboard outer packaging too that is classy and stylish.

SHADE- Desert Rose is a beautiful pink with peach undertones. It essentially a pink shade but looks peachy under different lightening. The shade is sans any shimmer.

MY VIEWS:-The most amazing thing about this lip colour is the formula. It is so creamy and glides on easily. It just melts on lips. The formula is very hydrating and doesn’t settle in the lip lines neither accentuate them. It is light weight and very comfortable. The lip colour provides a healthy, glossy sheen to lips that is great. The gloss addict is mildly fragranced which isn’t overpowering.

PIGMENTATION- The shade is decently pigmented. Being glossy, it is sheer in a single swipe but covers mild lip pigmentation very well. It is buildable to medium coverage. I keep it to 2 swipes only as it can become a little bit gloopy and form lines when lips are pressed against each other.

STAYING POWER- The creamy texture, sheer shade and glossy formula does account to low staying power. It stays for a maximum of about 3-3.5hrs on lips without any meal included.

RECOMMENDATION:Lakme has always been a trusted brand and it has never failed in providing quality products at reasonable prices. However ,now Lakme is increasing the prices with every product release which is a major con. I love the formula, texture, feel and everything about the New Gloss Addict. Desert Rose is such a summery and refreshing shade. It brightens up my face. The formula is light weight and very comfortable. All the shades in the range are great however, the high price tag is a major put off.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipstick is very gloss-like.It is creamy and a dream to apply as it is so smooth and glides on very easily.The formula is very hydrating.I like creamy formula lipstick and those that provide soft glossy finish and this is the perfect combination of both.The formula,in my opinion is very similar to L’oreal Nutrishine lipsticks.This too can melt under high temperature so I store them near A/C.

The shade is super gorgeous as I can wear it anywhere I want.It will rock when worn to office as well as when worn on a night out with smokey eye look.I have been hunting for this shade and my search ended up rightly with an excellent formula and a lovely shade from Lakme.It provides a glossy sheen to lips making them appear healthy.

Bare Beige is decently pigmented.It provides sheer to buildable coverage.The shade itself is light but buildable.I like the fact that it isn’t overly pigmented and I can use it as per my need.It stays for about 3-3.5 hours which is quite decent(no meal included)!!The shad wears off evenly leaving my lips supple and soft which is a major advantage for me.

RECOMMENDATION:I am actually addicted to this range and plan to stock this shade and but a  few more super soon as I am fully sure that they will run out of stock.The pricing is high but the quality delivered,formula is truly amazingggg!!!

Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick-Medium Review & Swatches

I have been using this concealer for almost a month for daily use and here’s my review on the product:

ABOUT:There are some flaws even the cleverest of the make-ups can’t hide. Once again, the leading brand in cosmetics, Lakme has solved the problem with its Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick; perfectly attributed to cover and mask the dark circles.  This stick conceals blemishes and all possible signs of fatigue. Get a younger and fair looking skin today with this concealer containing Vitamin B3 and SPF 20.

PACKAGING:The concealer stick has a lipstick style packaging having a transparent cap and metallic grey body.You have to twist up to use the concealer.It is easy to use and travel friendly.

SHADE:I chose the shade medium.Somehow,I haven’t yet understood the numbering pattern of concealer as only 2 shades were available and this is marked as 3.Quite Strange!!!Whatsoever,I basically got this for everyday use and the shade is an absolute match for my NC 35-37 skin tone.

MY VIEWS: The concealer has a creamy texture that is easy to apply and blend.I don’t need to blend blend blend under my eyes to make it look even which is a major plus point as I don’t like too much pulling and tugging my under eye area.It is the most sensitive and while doing this,it increases the chances of making the under eye area looser.

The formula is hydrating and moisturizing.The creamy texture leafs to fading and creasing in humid climate so I top it with a compact to keep the under eye area  fresh.As per covering blemishes and acne,this concealer is too light.It provides just enough coverage light under eye circles and helping to even out the skin tone as it provides sheer to build able medium coverage.It brightens up my under eye area to some extent.The concealer does provide a white cast on application and can cake it over applied so I suggest not over boarding it.After sometime,the white cast disappears as the concealer adapts the skin tone.It is heavily fragrance which is a mix of vanilla and some other thing that I can’t detect properly.The concealer has SPF 20.

The staying power is around 3-4 hours.It doesn’t melt but starts fading a little bit as the formula is very creamy.It doesn’t provide matte finish but dewy kinds which can be turned to matte with a swirl of compact/finishing powder.

RATING: 3.9/5

RECOMMENDATION: I like the overall effect of the concealer only for everyday usage as it evens out my skin and under eye circles but it has a low wear time and can look cakey if over applied while providing sheer o medium coverage.
