Haul Time – Crazzzzzyyyyy & back to the world again!!

Its been a long long time since there has anything being shared or reviewed here. The last year has been very tough year for me emotionally & physically. However now I am back and trying to make things normal again. And the first thing that I have done to make life normal was to take a vacation. And when there is vacation there is relaxing & of course shopping !!!! If you follow me on Instagram you would probably know the beauty shopping that has taken place in the last 3-4 weeks.

I travelled to London last month & it was perfect tie to be there. The weather was so good. London has so much to offer when it comes to beauty, the high end brands as well as the best of the drugstore brands which are not available in India. PACKAGING:The nail paint comes in a transparent small cylindrical glass bottle with a black cap.It is sturdy and the bristles of the brush help in steady application of the nail paint.

SHADE: Pink Champagne is a pink toned silver glitter and micro shimmer loaded nail paint.It is immensely gorgeous and a difficult shade to resist.

MY VIEWS:The consistency of the nail paint is slightly on the thicker side.It is dense and has to be applied carefully as it may appear clumpy on over application.You need 2-3 coats of the polish to achieve an opaque finish so the layers need to be thin.The nail paint is loaded with glitters which are noticeable but not streaky.You can feel it on nails once the paint dries but they don’t chip off easily.The glitter particles aren’t gritty.The shade does take a little bit of extra time to dry out but it doesn’t chip off  or looks untidy for 3-4 days.Removal is a pain as in case of all glitter nail paints though!

RATING:4.5/5

RECOMMENDATION: I love the quality of the nail paint.The finish is amazing and the shades are fabulous.It is easily available at an affordable price.

 

Maybelline Watershine Pure Lipcolor B24 Review and Swatches

The watershine pure lipsticks are like tinted lip balms, look sheer and watery. These are for people who like moisturizing lipsticks and don’t care about the staying power. There is no shimmer in these lipsticks, just glossy shine.I have had this lipstick for quite a while.I had bought it and I remember how much I loved it initially but then with the hoarding of new lipsticks,I forgot to wear it back.Some Days back,i started using it again and am in love with it all over again.Here’s the review of the same:

PACKAGING:The Maybelline Watershine Pure Lipcolor B24 comes in a shiny silvery casing which is quite sophisticated and classy.

SHADE:B24 (I wonder why Maybelline didn’t name this particular range!!) is a very pretty light baby pink with a tiniest hint of peach.It is more of a pink but when you swatch it,you will realise that it isn’t all pink :p

MY VIEWS:The lipstick has more of a balmy formula.It is very smooth on texture and glides on easily.The formula is hydrating very moisturising.It is great for those with chapped lips.It doesn’t settle int he lip lines neither accentuate dry flaky lips.

The shade being pink and having a balmy texture is quite sheer but buildable to medium pigmentation.It is a great shade for everyday wear and subtle looks.Personally,I love wearing this shade with a thick winged liner.It looks gorgeous and doesn’t wash away my skin tone.It will come out as very sheer on those having pigmented lips as it will not be able to cover lip pigmentation.It stays for about 2 hours maximum which is quite low but the lips stay hydrated.

RECOMMENDATION:I am loving this balmy formula after a long time as I had been faithful with the mattes for quite a long time.I love the shade,the formula.It is very reasonably priced.

Maybelline Lip Polish-Glam 14 review,swatches & Pics

ABOUT:

PACKAGING:I love the packaging.It is different and very girly.The lip polish has a rectangular body with lipstick tip placed upside down.The wand is super awesome.It is very flexible and helps in proper application of the lip polish.

SHADE: The shade glam 14 is a gorgeous nude brown with a hint of pink which makes it a perfect shade for sultry looks.It is one such nude shade that doesn’t wash me out even if I am not wearing much makep.The shade gives a  very sophisticated look to the face.I like wearing it a lot.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lip polish is slightly thick but not gloopy. It applies really easily and makes the lips super soft.The formula is hydrating and very moisturizing.The shimmer present is subtle and doesn’t settle in the lip lines.I love how this shade makes my lips look so luscious.The formula is buttery soft and feels amazing on lips.It  is light weight and very comfortable.

The shade is decently pigmented and can be used sheerly  or it can provide medium coverage to lips.It will cover mild lip pigmentation but cannot provide full coverage.However,the shade is such that it will suit Indian skin tone very well and can be an MLBB shade for many.It stays for about 2-2.5 hours fading evenly.However,the moisturization of the gloss still stays on and on.

RECOMMENDATION:The lip polish is amazing.I love the formula,finish,shade and the packaging.It is a must have product.Highly recommended.

Maybelline Color Show lipsticks have been a hit in blogosphere for quite a while.Here we have swatches of 4 shades from this range.

~Plumtastic: A pretty dolly mauvish pink.It is a beautiful shade that can be paired with smokey looks as well as for softer looks.

~Fuchsia Flare: A stunning fuchsia shade that is bold yet wearable!!

All the shades are wearable and will suit all skin tones.These are hydrating and moisturizing like the fact that Maybelline has kept the price tag very reasonable so that we can haul as many as we want!!

Maybelline Colorama Glitter Prata Nail Enamel-Review,Pics & NOTD

PACKAGING:The packaging is simple and nothing fancy with a transparent bottle and white colored cap.The applicator is of perfect shape and the bridtelsa re just right for one good stroke.It helps in applying the nail paint in smaller areas as well.

SHADE: Glitter Prata is a silver shimmer in transparent nail paint.It is a great and very useful shade that can be applied to give life to dull nail colors.Also,a layer of this will add bling to much need regular nail color.The shade can be worn alone as per needed intensity or used as a top coat.

MY VIEWS: The nail paint has a thin and somewhat runny consistency.It somewhat applies really fast but the shade comes out very sheer which can be built up as per need.I generally use this shade as a topcoat over nude or pastel shades as when used alone,it looks really meh! on my nails.I would call the shade as a shimmery silver more than glittery silver as the glitter particles are rather small.

However,these are smooth and non-gritty!It stays comfortably for about 2 days maximum when used as a topcoat.When applied alone,I can see it chipping off in a day.Again,removal is a task as with other shimmery/glittery nail paints.However,this shade doesnt yellow out my nails which is a main advantage for me.

RATING: 3.75/5

RECOMMENDATION: I would have loved the shade all the more had it been a little more glittery and dense.The formula is great and it is reasonably priced however,the stay is average and the shimmer particles are really small.You Can surely give it a try to add little bling/sparkle to your nails!

PACKAGING:The packaging is cute with an elongated circular body.The bristles are soft and helps in easy and nest application of the nail color.

SHADE: Nude skin is a stunning beige nude shade that looks uber classy on nails.

MY VIEWS: The nail paint has a thick consistency.It provides medium coverage in a single layer which can be built upto full in another layer.However,due to slightly thick consistency,i prefer applying the second layer when the first layer dries up completely else it gets a bit gloopy. The.The shade can look streaky if applied fast.It has creamy formula but application isn’t so smooth.

The shade provides a glossy finish and can be used as a base for glitter or shimmery nail paints.It gives a very polished look to the hands which I absolutely love.The shade lasts for about 2-3 days on my nails.

RATING: 4.5/5

RECOMMENDATION: Personally,I love this shade and highly recommend it.The entire color show collection is a hit and all the shades are amazing.These are super reasonable and the finish is amazing.!!

Maybelline Color Tattoo By Eye Studio- Bold Gold: Review & Swatches

Festive season is here and I am again digging into glitter shades,glitter nail paints.One of the main shade that shouts festivity is golden!!I have this gorgeous color tattoo from Maybelline that I use as an eyeshadow base as well as an entire lid color.Both ways;it is a winner!!

ABOUT:Dare to wear 24HR shadow.  Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation.  Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant.  Ophthalmologist-tested.  Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.  Illuminate. With fingertips, sweep all over eye from inner corner and work outwards.  For added drama, darken as desired.

PACKAGING:They come packed in a small bulky glass jar that i cute but hard to store and risky for travelling with.The shade name and number are provided on the black cap.I always store them upside down to prevent drying.

SHADE:It looks a little dusty gold in the pot but when its swatched,it is a pretty yellow bright gold with slight gold shimmer.I would call it as a gorgeous antique gold with some shimmer.

MY VIEWS:It is creamy and easy to apply.It settles into a  satin finish that looks good on lids. The shade blends easily with other products of different nature as well.It stays on lids for as long as you want.I have used this shade as base of powder eye shadows and it makes them all the more vibrant.It looks gorgeous when used as a liner as well.Staying power is around 5-6 hours without a primer.

However,like MAC Paint Pots,these too have a tendency to dry up..My Bold Gold also got dried and i revived the intensity by mixing up the entire eyeshadow It is much smoother and creamier now.I did not add any eye drops or any other stuff.

RATING: 4/5

RECOMMENDATION: Yes,worth a try!!!It is a great shade for the coming festive season.Do check it out!!

PACKAGING:It comes in a camel colored compact packaging with a transparent cover and a separate compartment at the bottom that has a mirror and a puff. The compartment swivels in and out easily and closes with a click so its quite travel friendly and sturdy. The mirror is very useful for touch-ups. There is a notch in the compartment so that one can easily lift out the puff for application. I like this swivel out compartment as it is handy and easy to use.

SHADE:I have the shade Medium which suits my compeaxion very well.It blends easily into my skin and provides an even tone without making the face appear white!

MY VIEWS:The texture of the powder is soft.It is finely milled and smooth.It spreads well and blends easily without looking streaky.The formula is very light weight and breathable.It didn’t clog my pores neither broke me out.The powder provides light coverage and I generally dust it off with my real techniques brush over my sunscreen to remove excess shine and oil from my face.It doesn’t accentuate dry flaky skin.The matte effect stays for about 2-3 hours after which I need a touch up again.

RATING:4.25/5

RECOMMENDATION: It is one of the budget compacts available in the market.I have used it a lot and still love using it!!

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush Soft Plum(40)- Review & Swatches

ABOUT:

PACKAGING:The Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush- Soft Plum comes in a round, glass pot with a heavy bottom. The lid is made up of plastic, and the color of the lid corresponds to the color of blush inside.

SHADE:Soft Plum is a gorgeous soft pink with mauve undertones.It has silver shimmer in it which is minute but visible.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the blush is very smooth.It has mousse like consistency and once applied and blended on cheeks,it spreads evenly and gives a uniform finish.The shimmer present is non-gritty and not at all harsh on skin but I prefer matte blushes.However,though the shimmer is too much for my taste,I still like to use it as the formula is amazing and the shimmer doesn’t look OTT.It odesnt clog pores neither settle in the pores.It is light weight and very comfortable.

The shade itself is decently pigmented.It is a soft shade of pink so it comes out sheer in one layer but buildable.It can be used as an everyday wear blush as it is very subtle and gives natural flush to cheeks.The blush stays for about 3-4 hours on me.

RATING:3.5/5

RECOMMENDATION:I prefer matte blush but this is an exception.I love the shade and the formula.Highly recommend this to everyone as the shade is very wearable.
