Glittery Smoky Blue -Step by Step Tutorial using MAC Interview

I did a review on Mac Mineralise eyeshadow-Interview  few days back but couldn’t do a look.So,I thought of doing a full fledge Eye look using the same.The shades are gorgeous and very pigmented.I love he pairing and here’s what I do with the shades:

 

Following is the Step by Step tutorial on how I achieved it:

1.Prep and prime your eyes.

2. Apply the shimmery brown shades from Interview onto the lids till crease.

3.Next apply the deep navy blue shade from the trio in the crease area blending it with the brown shade.

4.Apply a matte creamy white shade on the brown bone.

5.Blend the matte white with the navy blue.Blend it upwards as it creates a shadow and adds dimension to the eyes.You can intensify the navy blue in the crease if it gets too much blended.

6. Next,I applied the golden glitter on the brown shades using a wet eye shadow brush.This way,it clings better on the shadows and pops up.I applied it near the tear duct as well as in the inner corners of the eyes.

7. I applied a matte black on the lower lash line (from Sleek Oh so special palette).

8.Now,I used a gorgeous deep blue shade to line my eyes and winged it.

9.Add mascara and white kohl in the waterline and I am ready!!!!!

PRODUCTS USED:

~MAC interview

~Sleek oh so special palette (matte black shade).

~Deborah Milano matte white eyeshadow.

~Lakme absolute shine line-Blue.

~Oriflame white kohl

~MAC Zoom Lash mascara.

~L’oreal Gel liner brush and Daisy flat eyeshadow brush.

Winged Liner made Easy-Step by Step Tutorial

I love sporting a winged liner as it goes with every look,gives a polished look to the face and is never out of trend.I have got many requests for doing a tute on winged liner so here I am,with an easy peasy way to achieve the perfect winged liner look in just 4 steps: 1) You can do this without any eyeshadow or with proper eye makeup.I concealed my eyes and applied a duo chrome mauve shade. 2) Now,draw a line upwards from the point where your lower lash finishes.The winged liner should come out as a continuance of your lower lashline. 3) This is the most important step to achieve the winged effect.Keep one eye close(which you are working on) and draw a line(from the top of the outer winged line that we drew) inside towards the middle of the eye as seen in pic 3. You can go ahead and draw further towards the inner corner keeping the line as thin as possible. 4) Now,what we are left with is to fill the gap to form the winged liner.After filling,it comes out as shown in pic 4.This is quite thin for me so I made it a bit more bolder by thickening the winged liner following the same pattern.   After this,I applied a nude kohl in the waterline and to glam it up,I used a blue liner and smudged it in the lower lashline.The ends of the blue liner and the winged liner meet in such a way that they make my eyes appear big.   

    This is my way of apply a winged liner.I find it easy and quick as I know where to start and where to end.I hope you all liked it and found it useful.

Festive Look~

I have been attending many weddings and ceremonies these days and this is the most worn look by me.It matches Indian wear so well and looks stunning.Green and gold combination is always a hit!!

A random eye look~

The best way to pass time for me is to try different eye looks or swatching my lipsticks.

I did this look as i wanted to use blue and peach together and this was the result!!!I wouldn’t call it a perfect look but just that it didn’t look very bad!!

I did a feline flick but elongated it at the end!!!

eye look-Pink & Purple

I wanted to use Bourjois pink eyeshadows since a long time and finally tried it with purple and a matte cream eyeshadow. This is the look i did.

I applied matte cream eye shade in the inner corners of the eyes and pink all over lids followed by purple applied lightly in the cease.O opted for a white liner on the waterline to get illusion of bigger eyes ❤ ❤

Purple liner on the lids,mascara and Done!!!

I created this look using maybelline fierce and tangy and bad to bronze .A thick winged liner adds glamour as always…

My love for winged liner is still on and I think,I am always going to sport this as it makes the eye look so vintage yet sultry..

Eyes of the Day… <3

 

I did this look yesterday using shimmery brown all over the lids and shimmery champagne shade till 2.3rd inner lid.Both the shades blended well with each other and I like the overall result.

 

A winged liner so uplifts the overall look making it glamorous.
