PACKAGING:I like the packaging.It is simple yet something stunning.The classic matte black square packaging with Bobbi Brown written in bold is amazing and attractive.The shade name is provided below.Also,the shade guava looks all the more luscious in the black packaging!!

SHADE:The shade Guava is simply irresistible.It is a great combination of pink ,warm orange n red making is quite coral but I wouldn’t put it in the coral category .It is a very unique shade as it looks different on different people.The shade will suit all skin tones and brighten up the complexion.It is sans any shimmer.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipstick is smooth but it isn’t very creamy.It glides on smoothly and evens on well on lips.It has faint fruity fragrance which isn’t too much bothering.

The shade is decently pigmented and will cover lip pigmentation very well.It cna be sheered out as well.The lipstick provides a semi-glossy finish.It is moisturising but not very hydrating,I like how the shade brightens up my face and it can be used with many looks.

The shade has spf12 and stays for about 4-5 hours leaving a faint stain on lips.It will suit all skin tones but the effect will vary.

RECOMMENDATION:The packaging,shade and the formula is stunning.I is a great shade that anyone can wear without much effort!!I highly recommend this shade.

Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color-Scarlet(18) Review & Swatches

PACKAGING:The packaging is classy and sturdy with a cylindrical black packaging having BOBBI BROWN written on it.The shade name and number is provided at the bottom.I like the casing as it gives a luxurious feel.

SHADE:Scarlet is a gorgeous deep maroonish red with slight brown undertones.It is a shade that speaks for itself and great for vintage looks.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipcolor is smooth.It glides on evenly .The formula isn’t very hydrating neither too drying.It is light weight and very comfortable on lips.The lipstick settles to a semi-matte finish.It doesnt accentuate my lip lines neither settle in the lips.

Scarlet is a gorgeously pigmented shade and one swipe is enough to provide almost full coverage.The shade brightens up my face and covers pigmentation on lips very well.It is not a shade for the weak hearted.The shade provides great wear time of about 5-6 hours fading evenly.It leaves a faint maroon-red tint behind.

RECOMMENDATION:Bobbi Brown has a great range of shades and this shade is great for night outs.I prefer the rest of the makeup minimal and let the shade do all the talking.I recommend this shade to those who like wearing bold shades.The finish and formula is amazing and so is the staying power.

PACKAGING: The packaging is classy with a shiny back outer cover having a dull gold band int he middle with bobbi brown written across.The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.The shade name is provided at the bottom of the packaging.

SHADE: Bobbi Brown describes the shades as a medium nude pink.It completely agree with the description as it is a very beautiful pink with nude undertones that looks really natural.The shade is sans any shimmer or sheen.

MY VIEWS: The texture of the lipstick is very smooth and creamy.It glides on easily without nay tugging or pulling and doesn’t settle int he lips lines.The formula settles to a semi-matte finish which provides a polished look to the face.The shade is light but it provides medium to full coverage.It will suit almost all skin tone but the intensity will vary as the shade might look sheer on darker skin tones.

It stays for about 4-5 hours on me.I love the shade as it can be used as  a daily wear shade as well as for night outs.It looks great when paired with smoky looks.The shade is light but it doesn’t wash me out.

RECOMMENDATION: I am so digging into this shade these days as it is lightweight and very comfortable.The shade is easy to carry and can be worn at work place as well as with bolder looks.The formula is one of the best I have used and the finish is amazing.I highly recommend this shade to everyone.

SHADE:The shade Pitch Black is  a deep black but not ‘pitch’ or intense black that I like.It is great for a smoky look and for everyday wear. It is matte sans any sheen or shimmer.

MY VIEWS:The eye liner has a soft and creamy texture.It is a dream to apply as it is very soft but firm at the same time.It glides on easily without any tugging or pulling on bare lids as well as on eyeshadow.

 

The liner is pigmented enough and delivers good amount of shade on waterline as well.It is not intense but deep enough to show up on waterline as well as on upper and lower lashline.I normally wear this for smoky looks as well as when I want thick kohled eyes.

I have worn this for about 7-8 hours and it stayed fresh on my lash line but the intensity of the shade did lessen on the waterline after say,5 hours!!!

RATING:3.5/5

RECOMMENDATION:I like the texture and the formula but it’s very pricey and isn’t very intense shade.

Bobbi Brown Art Stick Cherrywood Review & Swatches

PACKAGING:The packaging is like chubby lipsticks.These are sharpenable and come with a big mouth sharpener.

SHADE:Cherrywood is a pretty deep cherry shade with brown tones,its like a reddish brown but quite deep.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the art stick is smooth and creamy.It glides on easily and the formula is good for dry lips.The shade brightens up my face and I think it will suit all skin tones.The shade is sans any shimmer or sheen.It is moisturing but the formula does accentuate dry flaky lips after a while.It is a darker shade so the dry areas are more visible.

The shade isnt highly pigmented.It is sheer in one swipe but buildable to medium coverage.Personally,when I saw the art stick,I found the shade very stark but when swatched,it is subtle and can be used according to ones taste.Also,I find that even after building up the shade on lips,I see few areas more covered while few less.I dont understand why it fails to apply evenly.It stays for maximum 4-5 hours fading evenly and leaving a slight brownish tint behind.

Bobbi Brown art sticks can be used on lips as well as on cheeks.This shade will look great when used as a blusher during winter season.

RECOMMENDATION:The shade is nice and the formula is good but the fact that it is so expensive and doesn’t work out properly for me makes it a Just-Another lip crayon in the market.There are many other chubby sticks available in the market with decent pricing and excellent performance.

 

 

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss Rosy Review & Swatches

ABOUT:A lip gloss with a sheer, non-sticky shine with a hint of color.  Lip gloss is formulated with soothing botanical extracts including Avocado, Jojoba and Chamomile Oils, and Aloe Extract to keep lips soft and supple; plus the new tapered applicator lets you apply it like a pro. Scented with a hint of vanilla.

PRICE:$24 for 7 ml.

PACKAGING: The packaging is simple with a transparent tube having black cap.It has a brush applicator instead of doe-footed one.Some find this kind of applicator fussy but I find it very convenient.The shade name is provided at the bottom.

 

SHADE: The shade is described as “sheer bright rose.” For me,it is rosy pink shade that provides a wash of light coral colour on lips.

 
MY VIEWS:The lip gloss has a thick texture.It applies well and the best part is that it blurs my lip lines.The formula is moisturizing but not very hydrating.I like how it makes my lips appear fuller.The formula is light weight and comfortable. One layer is non-sticky but an added layer does make the lip gloss a bit sticky.The lipgloss has caramel-vanilla fragrance that is totally divine!!

The shade is great because it is subtle yet visible.It adds glossy look to my lips and brightens up my face.The creamy formula is amazing.It is decently pigmented.One layer provides sheer wash of shade which can be built up to medium coverage with one or two more layers.Being a bit sticky,it stays for about 3-3.5 hours on me.

RATING:4.75/5

RECOMMENDATION: I like the shade and the formula and totally recommend it to everybody.

Hi girls,recently,I got 3 travel-sized lip glosses from Bobbi Brown.I have been wearing them a lot and loving the formula.Here is the review of one of the 3:

Bobbi Brown Haul!!!

I recently hauled a few things from Bobbi Brown. Though,all the products available are irresistible,I kept a strict watch and shortlisted 3 products that I liked the most.

They are:

 

~Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Kajal Liner- Black Coffee!!

 

~Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener. I had heard a lot about this product so wanted to give it a try.

 

~Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lipstick-Scarlet. The name and the shade-absolute love! This was such an impulsive buy :P. My SA who was helping me with the purchase was wearing this Lipstick & I just could not take my mind off her lip color & finally asked her add it to my bag. (Mind at peace 😛 )
