Etude House Pomegranate Sheet Mask Review & Pics

PACKAGING:The packaging is cute and very refreshing with a big pomegranate image on the outer pack.Inside,the mask has a regular look like any other face mask having white colored sheet with cutouts to fit the face properly.It is wet and deeply nourishing.

MY VIEWS:I used this mask for rejuvenation purpose after a long tiring day to see the results.It is quite wet and some of the essence does drip.So a towel is needed under head in case your are lying down while applying this.The mask has a nice soothing fragrance that I loved.On application,after a few minutes I could feel some tingling sensation around my cheek area but nothing that was itchy or painful.I kept the mask for about 20-25 minutes.After removal my face did feel moisturized.

Since this is a pomegranate based mask so I except that it did enrich my skin with anti-oxidants as well.However,apart from that I didn’t see any glow or “healthiness” in my complexion.

RECOMMENDATION:It is a nice mask for relaxation and providing hydration to face but other than that,there are no more results from the mask..I wont say that this is useless as it served it purpose.

Etude House Play Color Eyes Palette in #1 So Hot Play Review,Swatches & EOTD

Another Etude House product and you surely know what feelings I have for them. I got this palette from a dear friend of mine who knows my choice to the core and I am glad I got this.

PACKAGING:I like the packaging as it is chic and fancy like other etude house products.The outer cover is chocolate-brown in a pink colored cardboard packaging that is girly at the same time ,being classy!A transparent plastic overleaf is provided which is placed above the shades carrying names of the shadows.Two small brushes are provided that are hardly of nay use.

THE SHADES:

The colours from L-R are: Coco Brown (neutral brown with copper sparkles), Clutch Brown (brown foil glitter), Pop Champagne (beige foil glitter), French Kiss (matte light pink), Misty Rose (matte purple-pink), Diva (purple wine with copper glitter), Glam Forest (silvery green foil glitter), Midnight Star (deep blue foil glitter), Sparkling Wine (pink foil glitter), Leopard Brown (matte deep brown).

MY VIEWS:I like glitter but it cannot be worn all the time so we need matte shades as well.This palette is a combination of both the finishes and I just love it for that.I can carry this palette anywhere without taking other shadows except black.A basic black is missing here which I need for every look though Leopard Brown is deep dark enough to make the look sultry but the magic of Black cannot be created by any other shade.

O7-Glam Forest is a shade that I love applying as it is unique being a mix of green and silver glitter flecks.All the shades are decently pigmented and apply well on lids.The glittery ones are also creamy and can be used wet as well dry.They don’t crease or fade and the staying power can be increased with a good primer underneath.I use these over concealer as well as over paint pot and both ways,they work well.The shadows stay for about 5-6 hours.The matte shades are also decently pigmented but they do have a bit of fallout.However,they aren’t chalky.

RECOMMENDATION:I love this palette and have been using it a lot with my Sleek Oh so Special.The shades are lovely and wearable.Also,they can be used for subtle looks as well as glittery,smokey looks.I just suggest an addition of intense black to every palette.

 

 

 

Etude House Green Gold Pearl Powder swatches & EOTD

My lovely friend has sent me a sample of Etude House Pearl Powder in green Gold.I was least expecting it and the moment it opened it,I was on Moon seeing the beauty.The shade is damn pretty and I am sure who so ever will see it,will fall in love with it!!Again,it’s an Etude product!!

THE SHADE: The shade is a duo chrome lime Green with golden reflect.It looks really gorgeous on lids and is a shade that will definitely stand out.The shade is great for bridal wear as well.

MY VIEWS:The eyeshadow is finely milled.It applies well and has least amount if fallout out.It is easy to apply over a base such as paint pot or on bare lids as well.The shadow has some amount of silver shimmer that is quite noticeable but it merges well with the base and provides a duochrome effect.

The shade is decently pigmented and it can be intensified further by foiling method!It stays for as long as you keep it on your lids provided  the base underneath is good.It is great for smokey looks as well as for simple subtle looks.

RECOMMENDATION:I am already a big fan of Etude House products and this is another addition.These days,I have been using a lot of their eye products and all are amazing.I highly recommend trying this out!!

Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake Eyes #BR401Sugar Maple Syrup Choco Review & Swatches

I love Etude house products and I am sure every girl must be a fan of their products and packaging.Sadly,it has to be ordered online.

I recently got this duo from one of my dear friends and I am so happy with the eyeshadows.Since,then I have used them almost everyday as the shades for me are irresistible.

PRICE:$9.40 for 3.4gms

PACKAGING:These Cupcake Colours are very adorably packaged in tin pots resembling cupcakes. Each shade has it’s own ‘flavour’ and design. The packaging is oh soooo adorable and I literally stare at it.It is sturdy enough and travel friendly.

SHADES:I bought the shade Maple and Choco which is a classic combination of shimmery brown and champagne pink.The lighter shade is more glittery in nature.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lighter shade is glittery as compared to the brown one which is shimmery.Both the shades are pigmented however,the lighter shade being sheer looks light.It is a great shade for highlighting.The shade does have a little bit of fallout but ti is easy to apply.I basically use such shades in wet form ad they get intensified and have less fallout..The shadow becomes very creamy when used wet.It feels spongy and applies easily.The brown shade is shimmery,has a negligible amount of fallout and color payoff is also.

The shades stay for about 4-5 hours after which I can see the champagne pink slightly fading out however a good primer underneath will definitely.The shades are very easy to work.hey are soft and blend well.

RECOMMENDATION: I love the packaging,the quality however for those who prefer non-glittery shades,this might not be a good option.Still.these are great shadows and I adore this particular cutie!! :*

 

Etude House Baking Powder B.B Deep Cleansing Foam Review & Pics

ABOUT:Formulated with Baking Powder to penetrate and cleanse deep within pore to remove makeup and residues.

PACKAGING:It comes with a plastic twist-off screwed flip cap and the opening is perfectly sealed with a foil.The packaging is cute though nothing fancy.

MY VIEWS:Because it’s not a fluffy formula, it makes a thick, dense foam.And only a little one is needed at a time which will make this cleanser last for about 5-6 months. It contains really fine and mild scrubbing particles and it’s not abrasive. The scrubbing particles will melt away during massaging.It has a citrusy, lemony-orange-y scent which smells really nice.

The cleanser is very gentle on skin and it brightens up my skin tone very much.My face looks fresh and glowy.All the dirt and impurities are taken off.I see my pores less defined and my unusual breakouts have also lessened to a great extent.

It is excellent in removing all traces of makeup.It makes my skin baby soft and with regular usage,I can see much improvement in my facial skin.It has baking powder which is very good for skin as it works on tightening pores and reducing acnes.It has never dried out my skin but I think it can cause a little dryness on dry skin as it makes the face squeaky clean removing excess oil.

RECOMMENDATION:I absolutely love this cleansing foam! It deep cleanse and exfoliate the skin, removing excess dead skin cells and unclogging the pores without over drying the skin.It is good at removing makeup.The cleanser has made my skin soft and clear.It is reasonably priced as very little quantity is needed every time and it has quite a lot of amount in the tube.The only problem is the availability as Etude House products have to be ordered online only.

Etude House Vivid Pop Stick #8-Crazy In Love Review & Swatches

ABOUT:Creates extreme point lip makeup with vivid and enriched color like original lip color.

Hold a stick in vertical to draw lip line clearly according to lip shape.

PACKAGING:The packaging is really quite though like other chubby sticks but this one has lip design made all over having the same shade as the lipcolor with white cap and white bottom.It is a twist up chubby stick kinda packaging which is handy and travel friendly.

SHADE:Crazy in Love is a crazily pigmented pink undertoned red.The shade is very stunning and brightening.It brightens up my face and makes me look all the more fairer.The shade is sans any shimmer or shimmer.It is a classy matte.

MY VIEWS:The first thing you will love about this popstick is the packaging followed by insanely pigmented shade.The pop stick does pop up on face.It is easy to apply without any pulling or tugging.The formula is creamy and settles to a matte finish.It isn’t very matte that is dries up the lips but comfortable enough.The formula is light weight and very comfortable in wear.It doesn’t accentuate dry lips but it does settle int he lip lines.However,exfoliation is very necessary as it is a dark shade.The shade can also be used to outline the lips and have a crisp lip shape.

The shade stays for about 6-7 hours intact with meal included and the n it leaves a stain behind which too stays and goes away with a cleanser.It is water resistant.It provides full coverage in one swipe with minor touching around the lip corners.

RATING:4.25/5

RECOMMENDATION:There are many shade available in the range.I love the finish which is matte and non-drying.The shade is super brightening and can be used sheer as well as full.The only problem is the availability.

 

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blushers Review & Swatch

ABOUT:Baby Cheek Pressed Powder Blush with Soft Puff Applicator.  Pressed powder blush comes in matte and pearl-infused natural tones for long lasting, lovely cheek expression.

PACKAGING:The packaging is adorable as in case of all Etude House products.They are made packed with so much love and look cute and girly.The lower packaging has the same shade as the shade of the blush.The lid is translucent with etude house logo on it.Shade name is provided at the bottom.It comes with a very cute fluffy puff having a pink bow on it.Th epuff is soft and picks up the blush easily but it fails to transfer pigmentation to cheeks.. 😦

 

SHADE:Carrot Cheesecake is a yellow tones orange shade with golden shimmer.It imparts a beautiful sheen to face for a natural look.The blush isn’t much pigmented.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the blush is soft and smooth however,it is powdery when swatched. When blended,it transforms to sheen like and adds glow to face.The blush does has fallout in the pan but nothing as such happens when it is applied on face.The shimmer present is non-gritty and very subtle.It is very low in pigmentation and has to be swiped at least 3-4 times to get average amount of shade.Staying power is no more than 2 hours on properly primed face.It doesn’t clog pores neither break me out.

RECOMMENDATION:I adore the packaging and the sheen but it fails to add colour to face.The pigmentation is low and staying power is very poor.
