Haul Time – Crazzzzzyyyyy & back to the world again!!

Its been a long long time since there has anything being shared or reviewed here. The last year has been very tough year for me emotionally & physically. However now I am back and trying to make things normal again. And the first thing that I have done to make life normal was to take a vacation. And when there is vacation there is relaxing & of course shopping !!!! If you follow me on Instagram you would probably know the beauty shopping that has taken place in the last 3-4 weeks.

I travelled to London last month & it was perfect tie to be there. The weather was so good. London has so much to offer when it comes to beauty, the high end brands as well as the best of the drugstore brands which are not available in India. Urban Decay Vice 3-Complete Review,Pics & Swatches

So,this is long pending poSt that I was supposed to finish last month but due to some or the other reasons it was getting delayed.Now,I have a full review of this here!!

PACKAGING:The packaging is can be the only reason for some girls buying it as the packaging is amazing. It’s super sleek and city-inspired, housed in a silver palette with bright green lettering on top of it.A duo ended brush is provided which is also great.One side fo the palette has a big mirror great for touch ups.Also,this palette is housed in a matching bag, that perfectly fits the palette, or can alternatively be used to hold your makeup when you travel or in your purse.

All the 20 shades are arranged in columns, with neutrals on the left, jewel tones in the middle, and smokey shades on the right.

Column 1: Neutrals

Truth is described as a pale-pink nude matte.

Undone is a midtone pinky beige satin with sparkle.

Downfall is a warm brown matte with a slight shimmer.

DTF is a taupe matte with sparkle.

Column 2: Cool Jeweltones

Dragon is a bright super metallic green with shimmer.

Freeze is a frosty medium aqua blue with shimmer.

Heroine is a deep matte navy with blue sparkle.

Brokedown is a antique-golden brown shimmer.

Column 3: Jeweltones

Vanity is a is a deep purple with vibrant  shimmer.

Lucky is a coppery bronze with really perfect color payoff.

Reign is a taupe brown shimmer.

Bobby Dazzle is an off-white with pale gold shimmer.

Column 4: Warm Jeweltones

Alien is a soft peachy pink with gold shimmer.

Alchemy is a bright, vibrant shimmery fuchsia.

Bondage is a blackened burgundy with red shimmer.

Sonic is a bright, metallic reddish copper.

 

Column 5: Smokey Shades

Last Sin is a champagne shimmer.

Angel is a warm taupe with silver shimmer.

Defy is a medium gray taupe with slight sparkle.

Revolver is a really fun soft black with iridescent shimmer.

 

All the shades are different in terms of texture,finish and performance.However,I had a great time using them.They stay for a bout 5-6 hours over a good primer and don’t crease.

 

RATING:3.5/5

RECOMMENDATION:I had a great time using this palette but somehow I wasnt much impressed by the shades and there texture.I believe that Sleek palettes are way much better than this and cost less.However,if you are looking for ‘ONE’ eyeshadow palette with decent shades then this is it!!

Everyday Wearable Soft Smoky look

Aah,so this is the last row to test out.Now,that I have used all the 5 rows,I am ready with the review of the palette as well.I really enjoyed using the shades in this row as they were smooth,nicely pigmented and the result is pretty impressive.

1. Prep and prime your lids.
2. Apply shimmery Taupe-grey in the crease and in the outer V of the lids.(Defy)
3. Apply shimmery grey next to Defy bringing it towards the inner part of the lid.(Angel)
4. Apply champagne pink shade in the inner corner of the eye.Use the same shade to highlight the brow bone as well.(Last Sin) 
5. Darken the outer corner of the eye using the black shade in the row.Use the same black int the outer corner of the lower lid.(Revolver)
6. Highlight the brow bone and the inner corners of the eye.
7. Tightline your waterline using a kohl.Apply a winged liner and mascara.

Altogether it was really fun to try out this look and all the looks from the palette.It is quite handy and compact.I will update a full review on the palette soon.

Cranberry-pink Smoky look ft. UD Vice 3

Now,only 2 more looks are left and here’s the second last look.I loved playing with this row as it was easy to get gradient look and the shades blend really well with each other.Here’s the step by step tutorial:

1)Prep and prime your lids.

2)Apply a wash of shimmery medium pink onto lid leaving a small space in the middle of the lid.(Alchemy)

3)Now,darken the outer corner of the lid using a deep burgundy -plum shade.(Bondage)

 4)Apply shimmery Baby pink in the inner corners of the eyes as well as in the brow bone blending it slightly with Bondage.(Alien)

5)In the next step,apply metallic cranberry shade in the middle left out space.(Sonic)

6)I applied a thick winged liner,white kohl and mascara to finish off the look.

Subtle Gold-Purple Look-UD Vive 3- look 3

Hi people..I am here again with another look.The shades in the look are all shimmery and great to be complemented with ethnic outfits.They do come up very pigmented in swatches but I don’t know why they failed to provide enough intensity to the eyelook.Nevertheless,here’s the step by step tutorial:

Step 1: Prep and prime your lids.

 Step 2: Apply shimmery purple in the outer V of the lids.Blend The shade in the crease also.(Vanity)

Step 3:Now,use the chocolaty brown(Reign) shade and blend it further in the outer V and the crease.The purple shade will still be visible.

 Step4: Now,highlight your brow bone and the inner corners of the eyes.(Bobby Dazzle).

The chocolate-brown will get blended with the highlight shade.

Step 5:Now,apply the golden brown shade in the middle part of lid.(Lucky)

Step 6: Apply the brown shade in the lower lid and the purple in the lower outer lid.I used a peacock blue colored kohl to line my waterline as well as a kajal.Apply mascara.

My thoughts: The shades are definitely pretty but they do lack the intensity.

Aqua-Green jewel toned look~~

Hey all,so I am back with another look using Vice 3.So far,I’ve used 2 out of 5 lines and till now,the shades are pretty good.I found the first row to be a little bit on the chalkier side but this row is simply amazing.It has all jewel toned shades which are great and well pigmented.Heres the step by step look using the 2nd row:

1. Prep+Prime your lids: 
2. Apply a choclatey brown shade in the crease-for easy blending(Brokedown):
3. Apply a deep navy blue shade in the outer V of the lids(Heroine).
4. Now,I used the very pretty shimmery aqua blue and applied on the lids leaving the little space in the inner corner of the eyes(Freeze).
5. After this,I sued Dragon and applied in the left out space.The shade blends really well with the aqua blue but at the same time it is visible distinctly on lids.
6. I used the same chocolate-brown shade and blended it towards the brow bone.The shade looks dark but it blended really well.
7. Applied Heroine in the outer lower lids and Dragon in the inner corners of the eyes.
8. Applied a winged liner and mascara.I didn’t apply a kohl to keep the look subtle.

Everyday wear Eye look feat. Urban Decay Vice 3

So,I finally laid hands on Urban Decay Vice3.It is a real beauty I must say.I wanted to test each and every shade.The palette has 20 shades and they are divided into 5 section like 4 shades for each look.I tried to use the palette and create each look.So,today I tried the 1st section and created an everyday wearable eye look.

1) prep+ Prime your lids.

2) Apply soft brown shade in the crease. (Downfall)

3)Next apply a light beige pink shade on the lids.(Undone)

4)Apply a taupe shade in the outer corner of the lids to add definition to the look.Blend with the lid colour shade.(DTF)

5)Highlight the brow bone using a matte white shadow.(Truth)

Tight Line your waterline,apply a thick liner or kohl.Apply oodles of mascara or a single coat as per need.You are simply done!!!

 

I really like this look as it is easy and adds a lot of definition to eyes without looking overdone.It is easy to create,needs minimal shades and can be worn to office or anywhere.

I added a blue liner in waterline to add colour to the whole look.

SHADE:Rush is a super stunning muted rosy pink.It is a shade anyone can fall for.The shade is sans any shimmer.It can be paired with smoky looks as well as for normal day wear.Both ways,it is simply gorgeous!!

Lip Swatch

MY VIEWS:It has a glistening sheen that makes lips look a little fuller and more pout-y. It applies easily and goes opaque in about two layers.The formula does make the lips appear slightly fuller.It is hydrating and very moisturizing.

The best part is that despite being so creamy And rich,the shade is good in terms of pigmentation and staying power.It will cover medium lip pigmentation with ease and provides a stay time of about 4 hours.It doesn’t feel waxy or bleed.I find it comfortable in wear!!

RATING:4.5/5

RECOMMENDATION:The shade is dupable but the formula is amazing.I like the feel and the glossy finish it provides.The only con is that it is isn’t available in India.
