Essence Circus Circus My Glammy Acrobat Lip Lacquer(02) Review,swatches & Pics

I have tried quite a few stuff from Essence now and I am really happy with all of them.Here is another product that was part of Essence Circus circus collection.

PACKAGING:The Lip Lacquers come with a doe-foot applicator.It does ease the application of the gloss.

SHADE: My Glammy Acrobat is a gorgeous magenta pink with multi colored shimmer in it.The shade is great for the fall season.It can be applied alone or over a lipstick.

MY VIEWS:The lacquer is creamy and glossy.I like how easily it applies on to the lips.The shimmer present is sublte.It is visible on lips but it’s not chunky or glittery.The shade is rich and intense.It is highly pigmented and one swipe covers  a lot.It applies with a glossy finish which soon settles to a semi-matte stain on lips.The texture isn’t dry.It feels comfortable on lips.The shade and the formula is such that it can settle int he lip lines os proper exfoliation of lips is necessary.

It stays for about 4-5 hours on lips leaving behind a deep pink stain that looks great.The shade brightens up my complexion and will suit all skin tones.It has an artificial candy flavour which might bother some but it fades after a few seconds of application.

RECOMMENDATION: I am in love with such shades as of now.My Glammy Acrobat is deep ,rich and intense shade that will brighten up the skin tone and is apt for the winter season.I highly recommend trying this as it leaves a gorgeous stain as well.However,this being a limited edition shade might not be available easily

 

 

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil – Bling Bling Review & Swatches

PACKAGING:The packaging is good! Strong, cute and useful! You turn the pencil up, so you don’t have to sharpen it.

SHADE: Bling Bling is a pretty antique gold.It is a great shade for parties or for the festive season.I have used this as an eyeshadow as well and it looks lovely!

MY VIEWS:The texture of the liner is extremely smooth and soft.It glides on super easily without any tugging or pulling.The shade can be applied and smudged during the initial seconds of application.However,within 5-10 seconds as the formula dries after which it sets and doesn’t move.The liner has a matte finish but it does crease or fade.

I would say that the staying power is around 8-9 hours which is amazing.It is a great shade for festive season and can be used in the inner corners of the eyes to add a little spark to the look..The shade is decently pigmented and 1-2 swipes are enough.Also,even though it doesn’t move or fade,the liner comes off easily with a mild cleanser which is a great thing for me.

Essence Mono Eyeshadow-Olive Garden (shimmer)Review,Swatches & eotd

ABOUT:Electrified eyes… the popular mono eyeshadows ensure color highlights on your eyelids and are sure to give all girls that extra-special added touch.

PRICE:Rs.199 for 2.5gm.

PACKAGING:The packaging is simple with a plastic transparent outer cover in round shade.The shade can be seen through the flap.The shade name is provided at the back.The packaging is simple and fuss-free.No applicator is provided.The main attraction of the eyeshadow is the floral pattern engraved on the eyeshadow.I don’t use that part also.. 😛 ..it’s so beautiful!!

SHADE:Olive Garden is a shimmery olive-green with golden-brown undertones.Sometimes,it looks like an antique gold shade when swatched.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the shadow is smooth but it isn’t buttery soft.It is easy to apply and blends well with other shades.The shade has nice golden sheen which provides dimension to the look.It can be used alone or along with darker shades to get a smoky look.

 

Olive Garden is nicely pigmented.The shade has more of golden reflects with slight green hue.It comes out as a sheer wash of golden green in one swipe which can be intensified further.It doesnt crease or fade.The shade stays for about 5 hours on my lids.With a primer the staying power will definitely increase.The shade will come out differently on different skin tones.

RATING:4.25/5

RECOMMENDATION:I like the shade and the formula.The finish is nice.It can be used sheerly as well as with intensity. Also,I have used the shade wet as well and it performs well in that way as well.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the liner is extremely smooth and soft.It glides on super easily without any tugging or pulling.This is the first time I have tried any Essence product and I am highly impressed.The shade is so gorgoeus.It makes my eyes look damn hot and sultry.The shade can be applied and smudged during the initial second of application for that groovy brown smoky look.However,within 5-10 seconds as the formula dries after which it sets and doesn’t move.The liner has a matte finish but it does crease or fade.

The Eye pics are taken after 5 hours of wear and you can easily guess that the liner can stay for 3-4 hours more easily.It didn’t fade or crease or smudge.Looks like I have freshly put the liner on my eyes.

So,I would say that the staying power is around 8-9 hours which is amazing.It is a great shade for everyday or office wear or even if you don’t want very intense black kohl on eyes.The shade is decently pigmented and 1-2 swipes are enough.Also,even though it doesn’t move or fade,the liner comes off easily with a mild cleanser which is a great thing for me.
