Every girl loves bright shades of coral,pinks,peaches but a nude brown,nude peach/pink or a simple nude colored lipstick is a necessity.
I have covered Red,Mauves,Pinks and now its turn for 4 wearable nude shades.This is a tricky shade as it can be an MLBB for some or can look streaky on some.The intensity of this color varies from person to person.
MAC Creme in your Coffee:MAC describes Crème in your Coffee as Creamy Mid tone Pink-Brown. I definitely agree with this as it is a warmer brown with slight pink tones.It will suit all skin tones and go well with Indian skin tone.
The finish is Cremesheen. It is highly pigmented and creamy in texture. It gives a beautiful glossy look . being Cremesheen, it melts in extreme hot weather.However,it doesn’t bleed on lips.It feels very comfortable and is definitely hydrating.It stays for about 3-4 hours.
2)MAC Sheen Supreme Bare Again:MAC describes Bare Again as “Pinky neutral beige”. Bare Again Sheen Supreme Lipstick is a sheer, but buildable, warm beige-pink. It comes out as a warm neutral rosy-peach on my Olive skin tone. On fairer skin tone it will be more pinker.
MAC Bare Again has a buttery smooth texture that glides on easily on lips without any tugging. It is creamy and very hydrating. The creamy nature of the lipstick leads to melting of the lipstick in hot temperature. It doesn’t accentuate dry flaky lips and blur lip lines.The shade provides decent amount of coverage but it being a slightly lighter shade, has to be swiped for proper coverage.MAC Bare Again lipstick has a staying power of around 2-2.5 hours.
3)MAC Syrup Lipstick:MAC describes syrup as ‘cloudy pink’ .However, for me it is a muted mauve pink with slight berry tones.It is a lustre finish shade sans any shimmer. The shade comes out beautifully on all skin tones.
The texture of the lipstick is smooth providing a glossy finish to lips. It is light weight and very hydrating. Being lustre finish, this adds a healthy sheen to lips. MAC Syrup doesn’t accentuate flaky skin and good for those having dry lips. The lipstick has vanilla fragrance that is pleasant.MAC Syrup is sheer in single swipe but it can be built up to full coverage with 3-4 swipes. It has a glossy finish which leaves ‘wet look’ on lips.The staying power is around 2 ½ -3 hours maximum
4)L’oreal Nutrishine Lipstick Sandalwood Beige:Sandalwood Beige is a gorgeous muted pink and comes out as a perfect MLBB shade for me.
L’oreal nutri shine range lipsticks provide sheer coverage but they are very moisturizing and hydrating.The finish is glossy and gives wet look to lips.The texture is amazingly soft and the lip color glides on easily. It feels luxurious on lips.The pigmentation is just about average but can be built upon.If you have pigmented lips, this would show up very light, so you should pick up the darker shades in this range.Staying power is quite low for less than 2 hours.
