Haul Time – Crazzzzzyyyyy & back to the world again!!

Its been a long long time since there has anything being shared or reviewed here. The last year has been very tough year for me emotionally & physically. However now I am back and trying to make things normal again. And the first thing that I have done to make life normal was to take a vacation. And when there is vacation there is relaxing & of course shopping !!!! If you follow me on Instagram you would probably know the beauty shopping that has taken place in the last 3-4 weeks.

I travelled to London last month & it was perfect tie to be there. The weather was so good. London has so much to offer when it comes to beauty, the high end brands as well as the best of the drugstore brands which are not available in India. I am sharing the beauty part of my shopping from London. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did 🙂

PACKAGING:The mascara comes neatly packed in a black colored tube with a transparent ‘outer’ layer.The packaging is simple and sturdy.The wand is pretty much thick and it comes out clean without messing up the mouth of the mascara tube.

THE MASCARA:The mascara is deep black in shade.I wont call it darkest black but it is pretty much deep!!

MY VIEWS:The mascara is neither too thick nor too flowy consistency.However,it feels quite wet on application.The mascara dries up quickly.I feel that the shade isn’t too dark or intense and great for everyday wear.I need at least 2-3 coats of this to get some amount of volume .It applies well in the inner small lashes easily.

The mascara did not clump even after 4 coats which is a great thing.It holds the volume for good 6-7 hour which is pretty satisfactory.The mascara wand is comfortable to use and doesn’t irritate my lashes.

RATING:4/5

RECOMMENDATION:I wont call it an amazing Volume mascara but an amazing everyday mascara.It is convenient to use and great for everyday wear.Also,it is easy to remove with a mild cleanser.

Makeup Revolution Baked Blush Bang Bang Review,Swatches & Pics

ABOUT:This merged blusher is highly pigmented for a natural soft effect. The colour is easily buildable with a hint of shimmer to enhance the cheekbones. Apply to the cheekbones or apples of cheek.

PRICE:£2.50.I got it for rs.750 from Jabong.com.

PACKAGING:The packaging is nothing fancy .It is simple with a round body having transparent lid to see through the shade.The shade name is provided at the back.It is quite sturdy and travel friendly as the blush has fallen down many a times from my hands but still it is in one piece! 😛

SHADE:Bang Bang is a frosted light baby pink with silver micro shimmer.It looks gorgeous on skin.I generally tend to stay away for such frost finish but this one is an exception!!

MY VIEWS:The texture of the blush is soft.It blends easily into the skin as well as with other products.The blush is baked so it is nicely pigmented and has to be used carefully.The shade is light but the finish is quite strong.It is finely milled and did not clog my pores.I like using it as  a highlighter as well and it imparts a gorgeous glow .It is quite noticeable.The frost finish looks more amazing when the blush is paired with a bronzer.

It stays comfortably for about 4-5 hours.It is light weight.I like the fact that it is a strong shade yet subtle.I have been wearing this with heavily kohled eyes and nude Barbie ink lips and it looks oh so amazing!!The blush does have a bit of fallout but only in the pan.It doesn’t transfer to face.

RECOMMENDATION:It is after a long time that I have tried a frost finish pink colored blush and I am loving it to the core.Makeup Revolution has caused a stir int hr cosmetics market and it surely needs a lots of applause for the awesome products that are delivered!The price is slightly high in Indian currency but if we calculate the shipping and everything;it is still reasonable!!

ABOUT:This is your salvation to get perfect matte lips that are touch proof.
A long-lasting lip gloss that goes on as a liquid and dries to a highly pigmented, bold matte finish which stays in place for hours! Easy to apply with the applicator to completely cover the lips. Completely touch proof! Revolution tip: Even lasts all night when you are eating and drinking.

PACKAGING:The packaging is simple and sleek with a transparent plastic tube having a  doe-footed applicator.It is sturdy and fuss free.The shade is written across the tube.

SHADE:Keep Flying for you is a very bright peachy orange shade. It actually works a bit neon to me in person, it’s so bright. It’s definitely not the shade that would suit everyone and not everyone would like to wear this shade.I generally tone down this shade by applying a layer of light brown over it when it dries.

MY VIEWS:The formula is creamy to apply and not especially drying but does have a dry feel when you lick your lips.It is thick and takes about a minute to get dry completely.Once set,it provides a gorgeous matte finish which I love.I personally prefer matte lipcolors these days as they give a more polished look to the face.Those having dry lips have to be careful while applying it.The lips should be well exfoliated and moisturised(then blot them).It can settle in the lip lines and accentuate dry flaky skin on lips.

The lip lacquer has slight fragrance that not overpowering.It is easy to get an even matte finish.It stays comfortably for about 3-4 hours without nay meals however,with food and oily stuff I can see it fading a bit.Also,too much speaking,laughing can lead t cracks in the lipcolor and it starts peeling off.It does leave a stain behind which goes off properly with an oil based remover.The trick to making them not stick is to apply a thin coat and not to rub your lips together while it’s wet.

RECOMMENDATION:I really like the feel and formula but the fact that it starts cracking is a great put off for me.The shade is great and will work on all skin tones.I suggest trying these when available at a discount.Matte lovers will definitely like it.However,these are not for those who prefer glossy finish or have very dry lips.Many bloggers have compared this to the infamous LimeCrimes and I believe that it is a color dupe seeing the online swatches.These are cheaper.The shade is slightly tricky but those who can dare to wear such bold shades can definitely go for this.I like peaches,corals but this shade is neon for my taste.However,I do use it with a layer of muted brown shade.
