PACKAGING:The packaging is sturdy with a glass bottle having a black band and red colored cap.The packaging looks neat and classy.The shade name and number is mentioned on the cap.The pump dispenser is really good and receptive to touch.

SHADE:I bought the shade 125(natural rose) online and it is again 2 shades lighter than my skin tone.The shade does has yellow undertones but it is very light for me. 😦

MY VIEWS:Though,I couldn’t get much chance to play with this foundation,I still tried it 3-4 times to get a better idea of the coverage,formula and everything.The texture is amazing.It is so smooth and a dream to apply.It blends effortlessly.I have used this with a sponge,buffing brush and the foundation is easy to work with both.

I find that the foundation provides matte finish and those with dry skin definitely need a good moisturizer underneath.I have combination-oily skin and even I feel the need to hydrate my skin.It can accentuate dry flaky skin.The foundation doesn’t transfer to other objects and clothes which I really like.Also,the coverage is medium to build able.It evens out the skin,blurs imperfections in the first layer and other skin problems in the second layer. Staying power is around 8-9 hours which is quite decent.

When used with the L’oreal compact,the duo offers full coverage.

RECOMMENDATION: I couldn’t play much with this beauty but I believe that this is a great foundation.The formula,texture and overall performance is quite amazing.I highly suggest checking this out.

PACKAGING:I love the luxurious packaging of this compact.The outer red and black is very classy.Inside,there are two compartments.One having the compact and below it,there is a glass and sponge compartment making it a go-to powder.The shade name and number is provided below the packaging.

SHADE:I got the shade warm vanilla which has yellow undertones but suitable for nc30 skin tone.

MY VIEWS:So,first of all I got a wrong shade.Its like 2-3 tones lighter than my skin tone.I am nc35-37 and this powder will be more suited for nc30 skin tone.However,I tried using it as a brightening powder(under eye area) and it did solve the purpose.The powder is finely milled and very smooth.It isn’t chalky or powdery but a dream to apply.I have used this as a compact as well as a setting powder and it does a great job in both the areas. However,when used as a compact,it did feel a bit dry and made my face appear flat.When this isn’t used as powder foundation but as setting powder, then it’s a whole different ball game altogether.

The powder is incredibly fine-milled and is of the quality you see in luxury brand makeup.I use a large fluffy brush on this as setting powder and it works a real treat. As it isn’t a translucent powder, it does give a tiny bit of coverage even when used with a fluffy brush as it has light to medium coverage.

It feels light weight on skin.It did not clog my pores and my under eye area doesn’t look ashy or grey after using this.It stays for around 7-8 hours with ease.My face looks fresh and radiant.I am really looking forward to get this in my shade. :p

SHADE: Rose Symphony is a gorgeous peachy pink(more pink) with fine shimmer particles.It is more pigmented and better in coverage as compared to Rose Melody. The shade is amazing as it brightens up my skin tone even though the shade isnt very intense.

The shade can be used as a sheer wash of pink or can be built up to medium;semi-opaque level of pigmentation.This shade is more pigmented than rose melody a it has more color to it but those who want to conceal their lip pigmentation through lipstick might not find it helpful.You can apply a lip pencil underneath and put a layer of gloss .The staying power is around 4-5 hours which is decent.The lipstick has a strong fruity-floral fragrance which is fine with me.

Rose Melody(101):This shade has fine shimmer particles in it.It is a very sheer pink toned nude color.It Those who like a sheer wash of shade to lips will love it. Sheerly pigmented.

Rose Symphony (201): This is a really pretty peachy pink.I love how this shade brightens up my face without looking OTT. A great shade for summers to add a pop of colour to lips.It also has fine shimmer particles.Provides medium pigmentation.

Rouge Allegro (303):A gorgeous cherry red shade that adds amazing brightness to the face without looking bold.The liquid effect sheers out the intensity yet the glamour remains.Decently pigmented.

L’Oreal Color Riche Intense Lipstick in ‘Red Passion'(297) Review & Swatches

PACKAGING:The packaging is sturdy and feels luxurious with a dull gold outer cover.The shade name,number and shade indicator is provided at the bottom of the packaging.The lipstick bullet has L’oreal embossed on it.

SHADE:Red Passion is definitely a very passionate shade and not for a weak hearted as it is freakingly bright,bright red.The shade instantly provides a luminous boost to face and needs minimal makeup.A truest of red and a perfect shade for bridal wear.However,you have to be careful while applying this shade as it can bleed and stain the sides of the lips.It has fine silver shimmer in it which is barely visible on lips but does show up on the cotton ball when the lipstick is removed.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipstick is very smooth and creamy.It glides on easily on lips without tugging or pulling.The formula is very comfortable on lips and the shimmer present is non-gritty.It doesn’t settle in the lip lines.The shimmer isnt visible on lips but it adds a slight sheen to the lip shade.The lipstick is hydrating and doesn’t make my lips dry after it wears off.

Red passion is intensely pigmented and you have to be very careful while applying it as it can be easily overdone.I do wear reds but this is out and out intense red.The shade did not bleed but while applying,a bit of lipstick slipped towards the corners of the lis and a stain was left.The shade stays for good 8 hours as it leaves a heavy pinkish-red stain which goes away with a cleanser only.The lipstick bullet can melt easily in hot humid weather so its better to store it near a cool place.

RATING: 4.75/5

RECOMMENDATION: Definitely a worth checking shade!!! If you like your lip colors to stay and don’t mind wearing reds then this is a perfect shade for you!!

L’oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision(Brown)-review & swatches

PRODUCT CLAIMS:“SuperLiner is the ultimate long-lasting liquid eyeliner with a sponge-tipped pen for the creation of fine lines or thick, sultry flicks. Colour is applied with precision and ease and dries without smudging and can be as delicate or as thick and intense as you wish.”

PRICE: rs.625 for 6ml.

PACKAGING: The packaging is really attractive and feels classy.Although it has the same casing as SUPER LINER carbon gloss,i love the fact that it is metallic golden rather than being dull old black or brown packagings.It has a felt tip for precise application!!

SHADE: I have the shade brown!! It is a deep dark brown.

MY VIEWS: The liner has liquid consistency which isn’t very thick and neither too runny!!The applicator is just perfect and helps in drawing very thin lines with ease.It is also very flexible.

It isn’t highly pigmented and you need 2 swipes to get decent shade .Also,the applicator doesn’t pick up sufficient amount of product needed for one full stroke so i have to dip again but I like how well i can draw thinnest and thinnest of lines.Also,it isn’t water proof.

RATING: 3/5

RECOMMENDATION: It is a pretty decent brown liner and the packaging is just amazing.Also,the felt tip liner helps in precise application I would recommend trying this if you are looking for a brown liner.

THE FACE WASH:The face wash itself is pearlescent white colored.

MY VIEWS:The face wash has a slight thick consistency but it is easy to spread and wash.It doesnt dry out my face neither it makes it greasy.My face looks bright and fresh every time I use this face wash.I have been using this along with the cream and the results are quite apparent.

The face wash is great at removing makeup and dirt without clogging my pores.It did not break me out either. The face wash has a mild fragrance that is reminiscent to the loreal skin expert cream.Also,I can see my pigmentation around the face fading slightly and evening out of the skin tone.

RECOMMENDATION:The face wash has definitely shown results on me.I cant comment on working on fine lines but my face is brighter and even toned.

My HG-L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara Review,Pics & EOTD

PACKAGING:The mascara has a black and gold packaging which is sturdy and looks classy.The wand is really good and works well in separating each lash.Also,the wiper inside the tube ensures that the brush does not pick up excess product which helps in avoiding mess around the mouth of the mascara.

THE MASCARA:The mascara is jet black in colour.It isn’t light black,isn’t grey black but gorgeously beautiful Black!!

MY VIEWS: The mascara has the right consistency.It neither too thick that it clumps nor too liquidy that it fails to add volume.It is just right to be applied;dries quickly so you need to be fast in applying another coat as there are chances that it might clump.It feels lightweight and comfortable on lids.I generally need 2 coats to get full volume and lengthening effect.

It love how it adds fullness to my eyes both in terms of volume as well as lengthening!!Each and every lash is visible separately.It appears as if I am wearing false lashes.The mascara gives a very clear,defined and crisp look to the lashes.! It does the fanned out effect that it claims.However,one major con of this mascara is that it fails to coat tiny little lashes near the corner of the eye because the plastic wand is too big.

Now,coming to the staying power,the mascara stays on and on until I remove it with a cleanser.The mascara is water-resistant but not waterproof.However,I haven’t encountered any problems of the mascara making my eyes PANDA BLACK :p.The The volume,curl stays all through the time.It does flake a bit if I rub my eye vigorously but on its own,it never smudges or flakes.

RECOMMENDATION: I am on my 2nd tube which is proof enough to show my love for this beauty.This mascara does my my lashes as MILLION LASHES!!!!!.It is far better than high-end mascara I have tried both in terms of price and performance.Having tried the Estee Lauder,Clinique,MAC;I can easily say that this one is the best of the lot.Yet to try the Benefit and Too faced one though :p

PACKAGING:The packaging is uber classy with a blue-metallic outer cover.The wand itself is so captivating having a Butterfly wing kind of shape.The packaging is sturdy and quite attractive.

MY VIEWS:The consistency of the mascara is neither too thick nor too drippy.It is just convenient to be applied and does not lead to spilling up the eye look.The wand is pretty easy to work with.The formula doesn’t feel heavy on lashes and is waterproof.

Now,coming to the Volume and lengthening part;The mascara is great at separating each lash .It lengthens the lashes very well and provides a good amount of volume.The wand is easy to work with and the design of the wand does a great job in providing fluttery lashes.

BEFORE

It stays on for good 6-7 hours which is pretty decent and does not flake or irritate my eyes.For a more wing-out effect, the outer curved up part of the brush are great in doing the job as it stretches the outer corner of my lashes just a little more outwards with the unique brush design, making it wing-out like a butterfly.

RECOMMENDATION: I really like this mascara.It is a great product for those having sparse lashes as it does work on lengthening and volumizing.
