I generally cling to bright bold shades as they give a pop of colour to the face but we cannot deny the necessity of subtle shades in our vanity.Here is where Mauves,nudes come in need.Below I’ve listed 5 Mauve lip colors in different formula and finish to suit everyone’s need!!

Revlon Colorburst lipstick Mauve 005-(Rs.600 for 3.7 gm )Mauve can be best described as a muted pinkish mauve with slight berry tones with gives it warmth and it looks amazing on any skin tone.Mauve is very hydrating.It feels light weight and non-sticky.
The texture is creamy with slight sheen that give healthy look to face.It brightens up my face and looks good when paired with any look.Staying power is around 3 hours leaving a slight tint on lips.
Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick- Rose xoxo-(rs.990 for 3 gms) Rose xoxo is a beautiful pearly mauve pink with silver shimmer in it.It is sheer but buildable.
The lipstick smoothly on lips and is very hydrating. The formula provides glossy finish to lips and gel-like feel. It is light weight and doesn’t settle in the lip lines. The finish is semi-sheer. It has light fruity fragrance which disappears within seconds of application.The shade is sheer but buildable to medium coverage with 2-3 swipes.However,it cannot provide full coverage as the shade is light.It stays for about 3-4 hours on my lips.
L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipstick- Mauve Cherie(102)-(Rs.499 for 2.5 gm) Mauve Cherie is a pretty everyday wear shade.It is mauve with subtle brown undertones.This shade can be an MLBB for many.It comes out differently on all skin tones but is flattering.
The formula is smooth and very balmy.It os light weight and a dream to apply on lips.The formula is comfortable and doesn’t accentuate dry flaky lips.It has mild fragrance that is very pleasant.This shade is sans any shimmer but provides glossy look to lips.The texture is balmy so these are sheer in a single swipe but buildable.Mauve Cherie is decently pigmented providing full coverage in 2-3 swipes.One swipe provides sheer,barely their colour and more of glossy look.It stays for about 2 hours on my lips.The lipstick fades evenly leaving mauve tint on lips that stays for about 1 -1 1/2 hrs more.The glossines goes but the shade remains.
Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color Mauve Outta Here(907C)- rs.350 Mauve Outta Here is a cool toned purple pink shade.It isn’t too bright but definitely slightly bold shade.The shade is sans any shimmer or sheen and has creme finish.
The lipstick has a semi-matte finish leaning more towards matte.It feels comfortable and is very light weight.It does accentuate the lip lines a bit but that’s not an issue as MAC Ruby Woo accentuates the lip lines more still it looks beautiful.The shade is decently pigmented and it will cover lip pigmentation very well.It can be applied sheer as well as with full intensity.Staying Power is around 4-4.5 hours.
ORIFLAME Studio Artist Lipstick Pink Nude- (rs.349 for 4gms)Pink Nude is a nude pink with slight beige undertones.It has a creamier feel and doesnt wash out my face tone.
The lipstick is creamy and very hydrating.The staying power is low for about 2 hours.
