PACKAGING:The packaging is simple with a cream-colored squeezy tube having a green colored flap.The packaging is nothing fancy.It is sturdy and easy to use.The mouth of the tube does gets messy but it can be cleaned easily.Information about the product is provided at the back.

MY VIEWS:I have used this mask thrice and I am loving it so far.The mask provides a cooling sensation on application which is amazing in this super hot weather.It is a Kaolin and Xanthan Gum based mask.The mask itself is quite emollient and spreads easily.It inst dry but very creamy.I love how my face feels after using this.It provides a very refreshing feeling.

This  mask has neem in it and I can be slight burning sensation after I fully apply this.That burning sensation is basically ts or near the zits or redness on my face.I feel that the mask comes into action in clearing away all that.The mask has mild neem fragrance which I love.The mask is quite hyrdrating.I can notice my dullness going away as my face feels fresh but the glow part is still missing.

RECOMMENDATION:This is a great mask for all skin types as it is soothing and very refreshing.The mask is hydrating as well.I highly recommend trying this out as it isn’t very expensive and great for summers.

PACKAGING: The packaging has really improved from the older one.Now,the lipstick comes in a red colored outer body with extra lasting signed at one end which provides an elegant feel to the lipstick.The shade name and code number is provided at the bottom.

SHADE: Ravishing Rose is a very pretty medium pink with mauve-berry undertones.The shade is really pretty that brightens up my face and it is a great shade for Indian complexion.

MY VIEWS: The texture of the lipstick is really smooth.It glides on easily and is very creamy.The lipstick has a creme finish that adds glossiness to the lips.I love the mild fruity fragrance that it has.It isn’t overpowering and lingers on for about 5-10 minutes.Ravishing Rose is a great shade for those having pigmented lips as it is opaque and provides good coverage.

The lipstick provides glossy finish on application which soon  settles to semi-matte after 10-15 minutes of application.The staying power is around 5-6 hours.It doesnt wear off completely and I can see some stain on my lips though.It feels comfortable and very light weight.The lipstick has a nice formula that doesn’t settle in the lip lines or accentuate dry flaky skin.

RECOMMENDATION: I am really loving this new version .The shade is pretty,the formula and overall performance is really amazing.I highly suggest checking out this shade as it is a nice option to brighten up the skin tone .The shade is really a good choice for indian skin tone.The only problem is the limited availability of Avon products.

PACKAGING:The packaging is a nothing fancy and not the one I would fall for.For me,presentation is equally important as much as the performance of the product.The pink colored plastic outer cover is cheap looking but in 200 bucks,what else can you expect.It is sturdy and travel friendly.

SHADE:The shade ‘eternal caramel’ is champagne beige nude shade with shimmer in it.The shade has a slight frost finish that adds shine to the color.

MY VIEWS:The lipstick has a soft and smooth texture that is easy to apply.It glides on easily and spreads evenly on lips.The formula is greta.It doesnt have any weird fragrance which is great.

The shade itself is quite light but provides enough amount of pigmentation.It is light in a single swipe but buildable to medium coverage with 2-3 swipes.However,since this is not a dark shade,it will not cover lip pigmentation.But the shade does not dull my complexion or make my face look ashy.It is a nice everyday wear shade that stays for about 2-3 hours.It has minute shimmer that is non-gritty but visible on lips.

RECOMMENDATION: The lipstick has a nice texture with decent color payoff and formula.It is very pocket friendly and available in a number of shades.I would recommend this to all those who are new to applying lipstick

Avon Simply Pretty Kajal Review, Swatches & Pics

 

ABOUT:

• Strong intense color when applied.
• Glides on easily without tugging or pulling.

PACKAGING:The kajal has a frosted pink outer packaging.It has to be sharpened but the tip of the kajal is quite chubby unlike normal size ones.It is sturdy and travel friendly.You have to be careful while putting the cap as many times it gets on the kajal tip and it gets messy.

MY VIEWS:The kajal has a very smooth formula.It glides on easily on lids and doesn’t sting or irritate my waterline and I feel it is safe for those who have sensitive eyes or wear lenses.

It is definitely black but not the blackest one or intense and it has the habit of fading away within minutes of application.It doesn’t become streaky or make my undereye area black but it just vanishes which is a major con.

 

I have used this as an eyeshadow base but it made the eyeshadow crease as the formula of the kajal is creamy and makes the eyelids oily.However,I tried using it as a base for eyeshadow over a good layer of primer and concealer and the kajal did not crease.

RECOMMENDATION:For me,this kajal is a complete dud as it is neither black nor intense nor the staying power is good.

 

Avon Glimmersticks Lip Liner Pencil – Mystery Mauve review & swatches

PRODUCT CLAIMS:Enhances the wear of any lipstick. Smooth, glide-on color. Long wearing. Retractable, self-sharpening.

PACKAGING:The packaging is simple with a black retractable pencil.The shade name and a small shade indicator is provided at the side.

SHADE:Mystery Mauve is a deep brown undertoned mauve shade.It comes out a bit darker on lips as compared to the swatch.

MY VIEWS:The lip liner are decently pigmented.It provides a matte finish.I wont call them smooth but they aren’t very drying.I feel that the lip liner is a bit harsh on lips which might be due to the fact that I don’t use it much and might have started drying up but your lips need to be properly exfoliated.

The liner is comfortable on lips but appears to be a bit drying.It doesnt transfer to other objects.

I usually use it as a base and it works well.Sometimes,it can be used as proper lipcolor with a clear gloss over it.

As a lip liner,it is fine as it helps in providing definition to lips.

Staying power is around 4-5 hours when used as a base for lip shades.You can easily see through the lip swatch how it accentuates the dry flaky lips.The shade does brighten up my face though!

RATING: 3/5

RECOMMENDATION: I generally stay away from such deep dark shades but it is a nice addition.Also,it is a lip liner so I can use it under a nude shade to just add a bit of colour to lips.

PACKAGING:The packaging is like other chubby sticks having a black outer body with the same shade at the bottom as the lip crayon.The shade name is provided at the bottom.The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

SHADE:The shade-showstopper pink is bright blue base pink with purple and pink shimmer in it.

MY VIEWS:The crayon is easy to apply and glides on smoothly.The shimmer present can be felt a little bit on lips but it isn’t gritty or abrasive on lips.The formula is hydrating and moisturising.It is not overly buttery that it melts or bleeds on over application.Also,the crayon doesn’t break or melt in the packaging as well which is great plus point.It doesn’t accentuate lip lines but it can settle it the lip lines.The shimmer present stays on the lips when the color goes off which I don’t like.The crayon provides glossy finish.

The shade provides a good amount of coverage and is great for those having pigmented lips.It does brighten out my complexion as well.The staying power is great too.The shade stays for good 4-5 hours leaving behind a slight tint on lips.It is light weight and very comfortable on lips.The lip crayon has mild fragrance which isn’t overpowering.

RECOMMENDATION: Show stopper pink is a bright shade of pink that will brighten up the complexion.It has a nice formula and finish however,the shimmer present int h crayon is a put off for me.Alos,these days I am more into matte finish.

 

Avon Simply Pretty eyeliner and eyeshadow duo- Angel Wink Review,swatches & EOTD

I got this duo as a gift from a very dear friend of mine.I love applying eyeshadow and antique gold is One shade I love to bits.This duo has a powder eyeshadow pigment at one end and golden-colored liner at the other end.

PRICE:rs.149 or so for 0.5gm.

PACKAGING:The packaging is very sweet with powder eyeshadow compartment at one side and colored pencil at the other end.It us very easy to use and travel friendly.The pencil is sharpenable.It is a very small pencil and will finish up quite soon.

SHADE:The powder eyeshadow pigment is antique gold in color which is very subtle yet very classy.The pencil is yellow golden in color.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the eyeshadow pigment is soft and non-gritty.It is finely milled.The pigment adheres to the eyes really well and has minimal fallout.The shade is decently pigmented and 2 swipes provide a good amount of colour to lids.I love the shade as it gives a polished look to the face.The shade is great and very versatile.

It can be used alone as well as with other shades.It blends well.Also,the shade will compliment Indian ethnic wear very well.The pencil that comes along has smooth formula.It applies with ease without any tugging or oulling.However,the shade is sheer to be used on waterline.I basically use it on the lower lash line or in the inner corners of the eyes as it is a golden shade,it lights up the eyes.

The powder pigment stays for about 4-5 hours without any creasing.It will stay more when used over a primer or over an eyeshadow base.The pencil has low staying power for about 2-3 hours.

RECOMMENDATION:I like the combo and it is very reasonably price.The shade is great and can be used for creating many looks.The formula,pigmentation,quality is also great.The only con is the availability of Avon products.

 

Avon Nail Wear Pro Nail Enamel-Aqua Fantasy Review & Pics

PACKAGING:I like the packaging that is chic.It has a square style look and the brush is of good quality.It has flat bristles that helps in applying the enamel easily and evenly.I can cover smaller areas of the nails easily.

SHADE:It’s a beautiful aqua colour creme polish with an ever so slight pearly shimmer to it.

MY VIEWS:The consistency of the nail enamel is neither too runny nor too thick.It is easy to apply and dries quickly while giving ample time for layering.It doesn’t look muddy on nails even in 3 layers which is like.I prefer 2 coats of the nail paint to give an even finish. It provides full coverage in 1.5 coats though providing glossy-pearly finish that adds dimension to the shade.

The nail paint stays for about 2 to 3 days maximum after which I can see is chipping off from the tip.The pearly finish gives a polished look to the nail and makes the shade look more brighter than being a pastel blue..The applicator is of good quality and very handy.Also,the nail paint is easy to remove and doesn’t dull my nails.

RECOMMENDATION: I like the shade and he formula.It is prices reasonably and available in variety of shades but the only problem is the availability as these can be bought from Avon representatives.However,those who love pastel shades,aqua and mint shades should definitely give this a try!

Avon Skin Goodness CC Cream (Color Corrector) Review ,swatches & Pics

PACKAGING:A classy sleek back tube with a nozzle to dispense out the product.It is sturdy and travel friendly.The shade name is provided at the back.However,the tip of the nozzle gets messy at times.

SHADES:Out of the two shades,I got the lighter one-nude.The other one,medium wheat would have also complimented my skin tone.The shade has neutral tones leaning more towards pink.I am yellow under toned but this being neutral,adjusts to me skin tone after a while.

Avon CC cream-nude swatch

MY VIEWS:The CC cream has a runny consistency due to which it is easy to spread out and blend.I prefer using my fingers to blend it as it is easy and evens out the skin much better.Thee CC cream provides sheer coverage in a single layer which can be built up to light but in no way,it provides medium coverage.The CC cream does brighten up my face and adds a gorgeous glow,it provides dewy finish so those having oily skin need a layer of compact over this.It evens out my face,brightens up and very lightly conceals redness but acnes,marks and other such areas need heavy concealing.

I stays for about 5-6 hours but after 2-3 hours,I can see my T-zone oily so need to blot it.It doesn’t transfer to other objects and wiping off the sweat from face will definitely take away the CC cream as well.

The major advantage of this CC cream is spf50 PA +++ so I don’t need an extra layer of sunscreen below.

RECOMMENDATION:I love this CC cream as it provides the good amount of protection from sun while providing dewy finish and evenness to the face.It is light weight,comfortable and very handy.I highly recommend this to all those who prefer  sheer-light coverage but those who need extra coverage will have to use a heavy concealer .
