VOV Eyeshadow Duo Review,Swatches,EOTD

I got this duo as a gift from friend and I have used these 4-5 times.I have never had a  duo combination of classic black and grey for perfect smokey look and when she offered me this,I happily agreed.

PRICE:Rs.150 or so I am not sure.

PACKAGING:The packaging is simple and little flimsy with a plastic round black outer covering.Nothing is mentioned on the packaging about the shade or number or brand. No applicator provided!!

SHADES:The shades in the duo are-black and silver. The black shade has some colored particles though they don’t transfer on the lids neither are visible in the swatch. The silver grey is basic shade.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the shadows is smooth but not very soft and creamy. These are on slightly drier side and have to be swiped 3-4 times to get the shade. They have a little gritty feel though they apply well. The shades blend well with each other and the pigmentation does increase when used over a primer. The shades stay for about 4-5 hours on my lids.

I personally feel that the black shade should have been more intense to get the perfect look.

RECOMMENDATION:This is a good option for girls who are new to smokey eye look as it is reasonably priced. However,I feel the quality should have been better.

Duo Chrome Pink & Blue Party Eye Makeup Look-step by step Tutorial~

Hey Girls,

Its been so long that I did an eye makeup look. These days,I am loving blues and pinks combo and came up with this look that is very wearable. It is great for night outs as well as for weddings as the duo chrome pink goes with Indian ethnic wear very well.

The look is really easy and hardly takes 10 minutes.A thick winged liner adds gorgeous oomph to the overall look.Blow are the steps,Hope you all like it and try it!!!

Step 1: Apply a duo chrome pink eye shadow all over your lids.

Step 2: Next, apply a navy blue shade in the crease and blend it with the pink in the crease only.

Step 3: After that ,apply a bright pink shade in the outer corner of the eye and blend t with both the shades to have uniformity.

Step 4: After this, apply the same matte navy blue shade in the outer V area of the eye just after the pink shade to add depth.

Step 5: In the following step, apply a light champagne shade to highlight the brow bone. You can choose matte or shimmery as per your choice.Blend the shade with the blue shade. You can apply a bit extra blue to intensify the crease area.

Step 6: Apply the navy blue shade on the lower outer corner of the eye and the pink shade in the inner corner of the eyes.

Define your brows, apply a thick winged liner.I tried a mixture of winged as well as feline so the result is  a bit different. 😛

I don’t wear black kohl these days so added nude kohl in the waterline. It brightens up the eyes.Apply mascara and the resultant look:

Shimmery Peachy Green Look-Step by Step Tutorial

So,here goes the Step By Step tutorial of this look!!

Hope you all like it!!

Lets Start:

1. Prep and Prime your eyes.Conceal them.

2.Apply glitter base.I used MAC genuine Treasure paint pot.The pigment pops up over this base and the shimmer in it adds beauty to the pigment.

3.Next I applied a plummy brown shadow in the crease.Just a line.

4.After that,I applied peach pigment.I just patted it over the base all over the lids and lightly blended the edges.

5.Following,I applied a deep shimmery green shade in the outer corner of the eyes.

6.To make the look stand out more,I applied the green shade in the crease just below the plum brown shade. This plum brown shade adds dimension to the look.

7.I used a duo chrome golden pink pigment to highlight the crease.Blended all the shades.

8.I applied the same green shade in the lower outer corner of the eyes and the golden pink pigment in the inner corners of the eyes.

9.To make the look bit sultry,I applied a green liner and smudged it.This made the look smoky and very catchy!!

10.Apply kohl in the lower and upper waterline, mascara and fill the brows. You are done!!!!!

There will be a little fallout because of the pigment used but that can be cleaned with a Q-tip!!!

Eye Makeup Look-Shimmery Pink & black with a touch of Blue…

I recently wore this look at a night party and everyone complimented for it.So,thought of  sharing the look with you guys.Have  a look!!

1. Prep and prime your eyelids.

2.Apply maybelline color tattoo tenacious teal as base color all over the lids till crease. This shade is really pretty and makes for a good base as it reflects blue shade with other colours.

3. Now,take a shimmery pastel pink.I used Deborah milano mono eye shadow with a damp brush as it gets intensified that way and is easy to apply without any fallouts.
