Haul Time – Crazzzzzyyyyy & back to the world again!!

Its been a long long time since there has anything being shared or reviewed here. The last year has been very tough year for me emotionally & physically. However now I am back and trying to make things normal again. And the first thing that I have done to make life normal was to take a vacation. And when there is vacation there is relaxing & of course shopping !!!! If you follow me on Instagram you would probably know the beauty shopping that has taken place in the last 3-4 weeks.

I travelled to London last month & it was perfect tie to be there. The weather was so good. Pond’s White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel Review & Pics

ABOUT:It claims to give glowing refreshed fair skin after wash without drying the skin as it has oxy-gel formula with pearl essence.

PRICE:rs.95 for 50gms,165 for 100gm

PACKAGING:The face wash comes in a pink and white plastic tube with a flip cap.The packaging is nothing new and very Ponds’ type.It is easy to use and dispense out the product.Also,it is travel friendly.

 

MY VIEWS:The face wash is transparent thick gel type devoid of any granules.It is dense and a small amount is only needed for one time use.

The face wash is easy to work out with and lather very well.It is mild and not very strong.It has a floral fragrance reminiscent to all Pond’s products.I use it once a day.It provides a fresh feel to the face.It is not one of those face washes that  leave your face squeeky clean taking away all the oil from the face.The moisture level of my face doesn’t go down however it removes all the dirt nicely.

RATING:3/5

RECOMMENDATION:It is a very typical of Pond’s face wash.Apart from the name,the formula and everything is the same.The claims of pearl essence are still under doubt.My favorite is Pond’s tan removal scrub/face wash!!

PACKAGING:The packaging is really cute and very attractive with a girl pouting and depicting as if she is arrested.The packaging is really sturdy and travel friendly.It is easy to store and use.A mirror is provided which is perfect for touchups.

THE SHADE: Mary lou is a perfect champagne gold highlighter that is enough to lit up any thing!! A swirl of this beauty is enough to turns heads on!!!

MY VIEWS:The highlighter is amazing and application is effortless.It glides on super smoothly and application is a dream.It is devoid of shimmer and has a golden sheen.The highlighter is in powder form but it feels creamy.It doesnt clog pores or break me out.However,you need to blend it properly else it will definitely accentuate pores.It works well for highlighting cheeks,cupid’s bow as well as the browbone.

I can used it as per my need.For a  subtle glow,I use it sparingly and can be intensified as per need.Also,this suits all skin tones but the reflection and intensity depends upon skin tone.It stays for good 6-7 hours.

RECOMMENDATION:Highly recommend this.It is seriously gorgeous and the amount provided is fab!!My next jump is on Becca now!! will be back with it super soon!! :d

PACKAGING:The packaging is quite classy and quite nice with a dull golden metallic outer bottle having a purple dispenser and transparent cap.It is sturdy and travel friendly with all the details mentioned.

SHADE:The serum is milky white in color.It quickly gets absorbed into the skin.

MY VIEWS:I have been using this serum for about a month.I was intrigued by the serum-cream combination.The formula is great for oily-combination skin as it is hydrating but doesn’t break out or make the face greasy.It provides the right amount of moisture needed for the face.The serum is very light weight and quickly gets absorbed into the skin.It has a fruit-chemical fragrance that I am not a fan off but it isn’t very much bothering.

I have used this for quite a while and believe that it is a great product as I no more have to smear my face with lots of skin care.Also,my face looks brighter and radiant.I use it once during night time.My small acne marks are gone and the pigmentation around the face has lightened.

RECOMMENDATION: Lotus Herbals has also come up with great formulas and this is another addition to the list.I like that they have redone the packaging which is great.The product is worth a try as it is reasonably priced as compared to other high end skincare brands.

Oriflame The ONE Eye Liner Stylo Black Review, Swatches

ABOUT:Oriflame The ONE Eyeliner Stylo has a soft felt tip which delivers a smooth, precise line without dragging or stopping.  It is suitable for contact lens wearers, and is Ophthalmologically tested.  The intense pigments deliver rich colour intensity and have been given a positive response of 99% when consumer tested on 67  women. Also it lasts upto 24 hours.

PRICE:rs.499 for 0.8ml

PACKAGING:The packaging is quite simple and nothing fancy.It has a normal pen style packaging and a little thick tip as compared to normal pen liners available.I find this tip better for precise application and it is great for beginners.It is easy to store,find and is travel friendly.

SHADE:The One eye liner stylo in Black is a deep intense black.It is glossy on application but becomes semi-matte after a while.

MY VIEWS:The liner looks quite wet on application but soon dries up.It doesn’t sting to eyes and application is super easy with it.The thick tip enables precise application and it is easy to apply a single line in 1 stroke.

Normally,it is difficult to get even line with liquid liners but there is no such issue with this liner.It is not waterproof but stays put for about 7-8 hours.I love how intense it looks on eyes.

It is difficult to remove this liner with normal cleanser so an oil based cleanser is needed.

RATING:4/5

RECOMMENDATION: Yes,I recommend this to those who are new to pen style application of liquid liner or those who want precise application.However,this might not be the best pick for those who prefer absolute matte finish and thin line.

PACKAGING:The packaging is very neat and hygienic.The cleanser comes in a plastic jar with a screw lid to keep it secure.Though it is nothing fancy but these jars do add a classy touch to your vanity.

THE OVERVIEW:The facial cleanser is not the usual scrubs or cleansers that we use.It is grainy,basically granules of all the ingredients which adds a natural touch to the product.However,the granules melt and form a paste when they come in contact with water or Rose Water.

I have been using Gia Bath and Body Works soaps and Mists for quite a while.This is the first time I tried any skin care and I am head over heels in love with them.First in line is this amazing Facial Cleaner.I have combination-oily but this didn’t break me out.It has Kaolin Clay is my savior in this scorching heat.I have had issues of small acnes caused by exposure to sun and after using this 2-3 times a week,I can see them subsiding away.

The ingredients are all Natural and the formulation is such that it not only cleanses the face but all exfoliates dry,dead skin.I scoop out 1 tbsp of the product(P.S.:Dont put wet spoon in the container) into my palm and add a few drops of water or Rose water until the granules moisten and turn into paste.

It is easy super easy to apply.Keeping it on face for about 15 minutes not only adds glow to my face but also calms and relaxes my mind as the fragrance is simply divine.It is next to having a Spa treatment for me.I usually wash my face with lukewarm water to remove the cleanser easily and then put ice to close my pores.The entire 20-25 minutes session is very easy plus the outcome is fabulous.It leaves my skin fresh,soft,glowy and hydrated which I love!!

Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte lipstick- Serenity Review,Swatches & Pics

Gerard Cosmetics recently added this Hydra Matte range which has created quite a stir everywhere.Serenity is the most hot selling shade and I just couldnt resist this shade!! 😀

ABOUT:Serenity is a beautiful warm pink, with hints of brown, a very comfortable non-drying matte formula that feels as if there is nothing on your lips! I named this color after a big inspiration of mine growing up; Sailor Moon. Yes I know its a children’s Japanese anime but it was one of the first shows that I ever saw that portrayed a powerful woman who goes from a dorky school girl to a crime fighting vixen and that really resonated with me! It takes me to a place of serenity in the same way that makeup does.

PACKAGING:The packaging is luxurious though nothing fancy.It has a frosted plastic tube and a golden applicator having a doe-footed applicator.It is easy to use,carry and apply.

SHADE:I am all about this shade at the moment.It is not a very unique shade but the formula and the feel of the lipstick is damn amazing.The shade is a warm nude-mauve with slightest hint of pink.The shade adds a classy touch to the face. ❤

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipstick is amazingly smooth.It glides on like a dream.The lipstick is liquid in consistency but its not too runny or drippy.It applies well and quickly dries up.However,unlike my earlier experience of liquid lipsticks drying and making my lips lifeless,this lipstick is very comfortable and amazingly light weight.

It doesn’t feel as if you are wearing anything on your lips.The staying power is dam awesome.I applied it in the morning,like by 11-11.30 and it was there even by 7 in the evening.I love the staying power.It is fragrance-free which is another added bonus.The shade will suit fair to wheatish skin tone more as it has neutral tones to it.I like to pair this shade with champagne eyeshade on lids and a winged liner for day and neutral smokey eyes for night.

I got this powder from bangkok from 7 eleven store.I wanted to try some Mistine product but couldn’t find it anyhwere in the malls.The moment I saw this powder,I grabbed it as I wanted to try the brand.

PACKAGING: Mistine powder comes in a blue colored plastic casing which is very flimsy and cheap looking.I guess this is the lowest range available so the packaging is such as I saw very sleek packaging in the magazines.The information provided at the back is all in Thai language so I cant understand it.It has a small puff inside which I don’t like at all.

SHADE:The compact powder is a great match to my skin tone.It is perfect for nc35-37 skin tones and has yellow undertones.

MY VIEWS:The powder has a very light texture.It is finely milled and easily gets absorbed into the skin.The powder is great for setting foundation and provides a matte finish that stays for good 5 hours.However,it has to be applied carefully as it can be easily overdone and makes the face appear white.

It doesn’t alter the shade of the foundation.The coverage is sheer and light layer provides natural finish.

RATING:3/5

RECOMMENDATION: I am not too much impressed by the quality of the compact.It is very usual but considering the price,it is good.

Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner Totally Turquoise Review, Swatches & FOTD

ABOUT:This eyeliner is from Revlon. The details include: enriched with Vitamin E and aloe, soft cream base, intense colour, water proof, smudge proof, lasts long and easy to remove.

PRICE:rs.615 for 1.2gm

PACKAGING:The liner has a wooden pencil body with the cover being same shade as the shade of the liner.It is easy to use,travel friendly and easy to sharpen.

SHADE:The shade is a gorgeous turquoise blue that sparks up the eye look.It is slightly shimmery.

MY VIEWS:The liner is super smooth and easy to apply.It glides on without any tugging or pulling.It applies well without any streaky lines or creasing.I like the shade as it is intense and brightens up the eye look.Once applied,it can be smudged in the initial seconds to get a smoky blue look but once set it doesn’t move.I use this as a liner as well as a liner in the lower lash and love the effect as it adds a pop of colour to the look.

The shade is very pigmented and stays for good 7 hours on my lids however the staying power the staying power is low when applied over powder shadows.

RATING:4.6/5

RECOMMENDATION:I highly recommend trying this shade as it is an amazing colour and the effect is great too.
