ABOUT: Only our oil-free formula can hold highly concentrated pigments in a clear gel base so color is more intense and lines resist wear for hours. Smudge-proof and waterproof, the most intense line for lasting drama.
PACKAGING:Simple & light weight plastic container & a screw lid.It is convenient to store and is travel friendly. The packaging is slightly different – its in a square base clear pot instead of the round glass one. The metallic lid has been replaced by a sleek black plastic one.
MY VIEWS:The newer version is more pigmented and jet black. It is smoother and glides on easily. It is easy to apply and the brush that comes along definitely helps in applying a smooth line.It dries quickly and I don’t need to layer it much.I have worn this for about 14hr and it looked fresh at that time too.I have used it on my waterline and it did not irritate my eyes.
Overall,I love this gel liner and highly recommend it.It is affordable, blackest black, easy to apply and stays on for a good amount of time.
The best way to pass time for me is to try different eye looks or swatching my lipsticks.
I did this look as i wanted to use blue and peach together and this was the result!!!I wouldn’t call it a perfect look but just that it didn’t look very bad!!
Here are the pics:
I did a feline flick but elongated it at the end!!!
Have you ever used such a combo..??

I recently wore this look at a night party and everyone complimented for it.So,thought of sharing the look with you guys.Have a look!!
1. Prep and prime your eyelids.
2.Apply maybelline color tattoo tenacious teal as base color all over the lids till crease. This shade is really pretty and makes for a good base as it reflects blue shade with other colours.
3. Now,take a shimmery pastel pink.I used Deborah milano mono eye shadow with a damp brush as it gets intensified that way and is easy to apply without any fallouts.
4. Apply the shimmery pink on 2/3rd inner lid.
5. Next, apply a black shade in the outer 1/3rd eyelid and blend it into the crease.
6. Now,take a champagne shade and apply it on the brow bone.
7. Blend the champagne shade with the black in the crease.
Apply the same shade in the inner corners of the eye and the black shade in the outer lower lid.
8. Tight line the upper and lower waterline.
9. Apply liner and loads of mascara.
The resultant look:
I love how the blue shade deepens the look and the way it mixes with the shimmery pink.
Hope you liked it

Here is the Step by Step tute using L’oreal Infallible Cosmic Black that I reviewed yesterday!!
Hope you guys like it!!!
STEP 1: Apply eye primer followed by a concealer to remove unevenness and dark circles.
STEP 2: Using an angled brush, apply a deep violet shade in the crease.
STEP 3: Now,using a fluffy brush,i applied a shimmery golden shade on the browbone blending it with the violet shade.
STEP 4: After that ,i applied Cosmic Black on the eyelid using a flat eyeshadow brush and blended it with the violet shade.
STEP 5: Taking some, matte deep green,I blended and intensified the crease area a bit more.
STEP 6: Apply the golden shade in the inner corners of the eye and deep green on the outer lower lashline. It will look something like this.
STEP 7 : Apply a matte brown to fil the eyebrows. It adds a lot of definition to eyes.
Tightline your lower and upper waterline.Line and apply a winged liner and mascara.
You are Done!! 🙂 ❤ ❤ 🙂
A collage of the look created.
Please note that the fallout that is visible below the eyes is mainly due to the shimmery golden shade used on the browbone.
Hope you guys like it.

I got this trio as a gift from Bourjois on purchase of rs.1500 I guess but I am must say,it is a very pretty and handy product and great for those who love neutral smoky looks.
PRICE: I am not sure aobut the price as this product is dscontinued but still available as freebies. It must be around rs.500-600 for 3.5 gms!!
PACKAGING: The effect lumiere has a same shade plastic packaging like i have golden shades so the packaging is golden.A small sponge applicator is also provided that comes handy in application at times.
The shade name and number are provided at the back of the packaging. The eyeshadows are in the oval shape divided into three.
SHADES: The three shades present are shimmery with a lighter champagne shade that is quite chalky and has fallout but looks beautiful as a brow highlighter. The second shade is a velvety light golden with a bit of shimmer.
It look great when used all over the lids. The third shade is a chocolaty brown with shimmer. It is great shade for crease.
TEXTURE,FINISH & STAYING POWER: The texture of the eyeshadows is smooth. They have fallout but not too much. Also, you need to layer on the shade at least 2-3 times to get full colour on lids else a single swipe will have a sheer coverage and only shimmer is visible. The first shade feels a bit chalky but comes out beautifully on lids.
They are not highly pigmented but need 2-3 swipes as said. Also, the shades blend well with each other and come out with a beautiful everyday wear look.
in flash light
I would like to mention that these eyeshadows show up well when applied with a sponge tip applicator than a flat eyeshadow brush.
Staying power is around 6-7 hours which is great. Also,a base underneath will increase the staying power.
- pretty shades for a day look.
- soft and smooth texture,
- decent staying power.
- handy packaging.
- all the shades blended together very well.
- can be used sheerly as well as intensely.
- the shades have a bit of fallout.
- the first shade feels a little chalky.
- this range has been discontinued.
- absence of matte shade.
- no mirror.
RECOMMENDATION: This is neither a bad nor a very great trio as many dupes are available in the market.
