SHADE:  Dating Coral is a pretty peachy coral shade. It is a great shade to carry with heavy smoky eyes as it has nude pink  undertones that makes it subtle and compliments bold eye look. The shade is sans any shimmer. It looks quite pigmented in the bullet but comes out sheer on lips and has to be swiped at least 2-3 times.

MY VIEWS:The texture of the lipstick is balmy. It is soft, smooth and light weight. The formula is hydrating. It doesn’t settle in the lip lines and feels very comfortable on lips.I really like the mild fragrance the lipstick has.It is easy to apply and goes on smoothly.

Dating coral is sheer as other shades but the pigmentation of the shade is also low. However, with 2-3 swipes, you can have medium coverage. The shade can accentuate yellow tones off skin so I suggest heavy eye look and a good base to make this shade stand out. It stays for around 1 1/2 – 2 hrs maximum and fades evenly. This shade doesn’t leave a stain on lips though my lips feel supple even after the lipstick wears off.

RATING: 4/5

RECOMMENDATION:I really like this shade as it is subtle and great for daily wear and can complement smoky looks as well. The formula is superb but the staying power and pigmentation is low.It is such a shade that needs a bit of work to carry properly. Also,it might look bit ashy on darker skin tones. However, you can swatch and try it out at the counter.
